The whole experience was really relaxing because of the gentle products used on my skin as well as the environment itself with Amanda's soothing voice and the instrumental/meditation-like music playing in the room. I used a Groupon to visit for the first time, because I've always been interested in Brazilian "waxing" (called sugaring here) but didn't know where to go. I don't have any girlfriends who get any services like that done. I easily made and changed my appointment online before I went yesterday to see Ciara (pronounced See-arr-ah ). The parking lot could get busy but I don't think finding a space should really be a problem. The salon interior is cute and clean, just as you would hope for a nice spa experience. Upgrades include the restroom's fancy bidet-type toilet and neatly rolled wash clothes for customers to dry their hands with. As mentioned, Ciara was my esthetician. For it being my first time having any waxing, let alone a Brazilian, she was so cool, calm, and just had a really nice vibe that helped put me at ease. It can definitely be an interesting experience, baring your lower half to a stranger for grooming! Ciara put on some music, asked me questions about myself, and tried to help keep my mind from focusing on the service. She was also good about giving me breaks when I asked for them. My first Brazilian experience was memorable and the day after, I am quite pleased with the results. I plan to visit again in a month for the same service. Amanda took care of me. My appointment was supposed to be at 10:30am but she was running a little late because of the client she had before me, which is completely understandable. Amanda is very hospitable and professional. She has a soothing voice and she kept the conversation going as she was working. She tried to quicken her pace so that I wouldn't be in pain for long, but I had to stop her a couple times to take a breather as I have not had a Brazilian in a while. I absolutely love this place. It's clean and nice. Service is quick but efficient. I've been getting Brazilian's for many years so I was honestly reluctant to try sugar wax (cause why change when you haven't had problems before). I tried this place because of a new comer deal they had going on and OMG I am so glad I did! It's so much smoother than regular wax (and here I was just taking the pain with regular wax). You barely feel it: and it takes longer for the hair to grow after your wax ( fewer visits, yay) I usually go with either amber or Ciara and both are so good and are sweethearts. I have never once felt uncomfortable going here. I would definitely recommend this place to those who already do sugar wax or to those who want to jump on over from the evil side. I love BeeSugared Salon! The girls here are so friendly and they definitely know what they're doing. At first I came here based on the GroupOn offer, but now I've continued to be a customer and now a member because I'm hooked! Brazilians here are $53, but if you become a member it's cut down to $45 and you also get 10% other services (you really can't beat that). I used to go to European Wax Center and they just kept increasing the prices... And always tried to upsell that I didn't appreciate it. At BeeSugared they don't do that and they just make sure you feel comfortable during the whole process. I've also gone to cheaper alternatives for sugaring and they were not the cleanest... So...I've been using this salon since back when it was Sugar Sugar. And I absolutely LOVED it. Even in the dinky un-airconditioned salon above the gym, I felt the service and professionalism were unmatched. All I can say is that this "upgrade" to the new location and addition to staff has been far less than stellar. I've been there 4 times now and the service has gotten steadily worse. It started with small things like finding small flecks of sugar on my clothes after I've left. Then it was rescheduling my appointment twice for terrible customer service reasons. The final straw was making an appointment for a full Brazilian (with a couple of add-ons) and walking out with only a bikini job because the esthetician couldn't be bothered to do the complete job since she was too warm. It's sad, but I won't be back. Dillan (and company) had such potential, but I'm not up for bad customer service anymore. read more

I have mixed feelings about this place... And I mean...hot & cold; night and day. I came here with a 2 visit deal for Brazillian Sugaring. I'm still shopping around for my home place to get brazillians regularly, so I had high hopes for this place considering the reviews. My first visit here was pretty bad... The girl was sick, for one... She had me sit down in a reclining chair...that reclines (goes down flat), but left it in the chair (upright) position the entire time. It was very awkward and uncomfortable... Also...I paid for sugaring right? She used wax and strips on me for part of it (said it was easier that way). That upset me... I know that waxing has a slight difference in affect of hair removal...so I felt ripped off a bit. My 2nd visit I was kind of dreading... They try to pair you with the same person that you had at first, but I wanted anyone else... I believe the second girl I got was Amber... Now she was WONDERFUL. Took care of me... I first learned about Bee Sugared from their former Marketing girl Nicole-who came into my work and referred me and told me about Sugaring. I am a Brazilian wax/sugar virgin and I wasn't sure what to expect other than pain but I wanted to try it even if I never wanted to do it again. I'm the the type to try almost anything once. So I'm looking on Groupon and they had a special! One Sugar Brazilian for $25 which is a stellar deal or two for $35! I double checked on Yelp to feel the place out and figure out who everyone raves about. So, I called BeeSugared and they honored the Groupon price so I didn't have to bother with buying through the third party. I went ahead and bought both incase I loved it and wanted to come back. They were super accommodating. I called for an appointment and they weren't able to answer the phone. They took the time to personally call me back to schedule my appointment with Amber-also the Salon Owner! They even moved some things around on their end to get me in right after work since I work close by. I come in and check in was a little quiet but once my esthetician was out of her previous service she quickly made me feel more comfortable. I even got a glass of wine while I filled out my paperwork! Afterwards I went into the restroom and OMG I wish I had taken a picture for you all. I literally felt right at home and their toilet is seriously so freaking awesome! It's a European style and is heated and the lid opens when you open the door and everything! The rest of the rest room is very home-like and cute! Lovely decorations. I head into my appointment and I'll be honest the first 5-10 mins were awkward and it was painful. But first they rub the sugar on you-which kind of pulls your hair and skin-which prepares for the next which is pulling. I don't know the feeling of wax but this method seemed to be very simple and effective. She also explained that she's pulling the hair from the root, roots that have been there since puberty so it's going to be a little painful. I'm so glad I got the second one...I already booked my appointment for my follow up and I'm so ready to get in this routine! As you continue with Sugaring the hair will stop growing over time. I get the worst razor bumps and I hate the process and the time it takes to shave. Right now I'm 2 hrs out of my appointment and I have no bumps. She wasn't able to get everything and my hair was slightly shorter that it should have been but she did an amazing job! I promise you that you will not be disappointed. My boyfriend is going crazy already-he loves how smooth it all turned out. This salon is cute, small, simple, and I love the rooms. It was very personable and they play the type of music you prefer. Amber talks to you and really helps you relax and not think about the fact that a stranger is sugaring you lol. Overall I would without a doubt recommend anyone try Bee Sugared for your first or next sugar session. This isn't my first rodeo with Brazilian waxing. However, this was my first sugared experience. The outcome? I'm in love! I had read about sugaring as a hair removal form in beauty magazines but never thought to try it until they popped up on my yelp from a wax service search. Why not give something new a try? (Side note: they usually have great Groupon coupons. Buy one wax get one free. Hello bargain!!) What I love the most is that is super fast compared to actual waxing. It's a little uncomfortable when hair gets pulled in one direction, but it's temporary pain. The pulling of the hair doesn't hurt one bit. When you fill out paperwork, they have you circle types of music you enjoy, and they play music while your service is being done which I thought was a very nice touch.
