It's my first time in Poland and I'm elated. We get off the bus these little rascals started throwing pierogis at us. They had really strong arms and it kinda stung but the pierogis were delicious. New paragraph. We are visiting krakow and our polish colleague and also one of my roomie's followers will be joining us. She's polish so she knows all the hot hip poppin rockin joints in Krakow. This place, Kiki was one of her recs along with a shoe cobbler "you literally cannot miss" (her words) and the polish fax machine museum. Adrian wojnarowski. My leader had one of the best bouts of diarrhea she's had in a long long time. Reminded her of the good old days in her words. It was refreshing (her words) Thank you Kiki, 4 stars. I ordered what I thought were pancakes with fruit and cheese and ended up with crepes with chocolate. No fruit. It was a bit weird as it was dinner. The English menu had about half the food crossed out and there were no descriptions, our fault, we should have asked for clarification. My husband speaks Polish and we usually just use the Polish menu, that would have been better as it had more descriptions on it. All around the food was good but not great.

Perfectly al dente and just the right amount of garlic. I had a beef salad dish which was so flavorful. Strawberry margaritas were delicious made with fresh berries, and a rim of sugar. My colleague also got the trio of desserts, which of course I had to try and they were fantastic as well. the Chocolate cake was perfection. Casual, good service, nice vibe, great food, good location.

Upon entrance, we were promptly seated by a very friendly waitress. Pizzas come in two sizes- large and humongous. We opted for large which was the correct option. Humongous would feed the entire developing world. After much deliberation, and an almost knock-down fight between myself and my dining companion, we finally settled on the Margherita with sun-dried tomatoes, Italian sausage and shaved parmesan. Five minutes after order, our pizza arrived. One word. Yummy. Seriously one of the best experiences I've ever had in my mouth. The Czech beer went swimmingly with the pizza. Great pizza. Great beer. Great service. Five stars y'all!

We appreciated the notice because I'm pretty sure that is what we would have ordered. I would say now to skip the pizza and try the other dishes. The chef recommended starter was asparagus (in season) with straccietella cheese, and fresh herbs. To say we devoured this would be an understatement. Other than that, my husband had the homemade ravioli containing spinach and I had the halibut with saffron risotto and spinach and cauliflower salad. The skin of the halibut was very crispy and this was quite possibly the best meal of Italian food that we have had outside of Italy. The ambiance was exciting and youthful and we would return!
