I started coming to Beena Salon last year. I had found a nice Groupon Deal for a Heena and loved it. I received a lot of compliments as well. I came here over the weekend to get me another one for fun. Beena Salon has many other various services as well. Its also unisex so anyone can come and receive nice services The salon offers eyebrow waxing and threading, haircuts, manicure and pedi's etc. The prices are very reasonable and the service is great. The Heena Tattoos are very nice. Make sure to have a pic of the henna you want or let them know what style you would like your henna. Not sure why they don't have a henna book or a pic book from some of the previous customers. It would be nice to see the work of art from other clients. I came to this salon for a Henna Tattoo that I purchased on Group On. When I arrived I presented them with my groupon coupon and she asked me what design was I thinking about so I showed her the photo. My design required a additional $15 on top of my groupon that was only $5. So for the size henna I wanted I cost $20. I think that was a reasonable price. The young lady who did my design was really good. She looked at my design and replicated it. I was there all of 10 min. She also insured I wouldn't mess up the design by making me wait and blow drying my design to speed up the drying. Overall the experience was really great and o get stopped all the time with people asking questions about my design. I would highly recommend this salon. read more

ONLY COME HERE FOR EYEBROW THREADING! Services: Bikini Wax, Full Leg Wax, and Eyebrow Threading They did amazing on my eyebrows - everybody couldn't stop complimenting on my eyebrows. They look very natural and groomed - contradicting, isn't it? But, I did not like the wax services. I got a Groupon for $25 full leg wax. Who could beat such a price? Well, the place made me prefer to pay more for the experience I received. First, there were two women who were performing the leg wax on me. It did not hurry the experience at all! The wax would sometime dry for being rushed and it wasn't pleasant in the room. They did nothing to make me feel comfortable in there. One of the ladies did try to. But, it was only to pressure me in getting a Bikini Wax. I told her that I couldn't afford it in the moment and would return (NOT!). She did it anyways and charged me. UGH! I couldn't believe it. So, don't try out the wax services here! It's absolutely an horrid experience and not even long-lasting. They used cheap wax that you could get from Beauty Supply Salon. AND YES. I did perform waxing in other places so I already dealt with the pain before. But jeez. I rather go there now. read more

Beena takes care of my thick brows. I've been to threaders & waxers who have made my brows thinner than I requested, didn't clean them up properly, or didn't check to see if they were even. Beena takes her time to make sure your brows are cleaned up, even, look great, and that you are satisfied before you leave. I appreciate her attention to detail. She really shouldn't apologize for the wait (she oftentimes does) - I am truly glad that she pays great attention to each customer. She did henna on my left arm for me free hand last summer. I got a lot of compliments on the design. It lasted about 3 weeks since I didn't scrub the design. Since it was my first time I got it, I got coaching from ladies in the waiting area telling me not to wash the paste until it falls off. This is really good advice - you might be like, "Duh!" but I really didn't know that. It might be a good idea to wrap it with cling wrap so you're not leaving a trail of henna paste wherever you go. The design from my ring finger to my mid forearm was $15. It is fantastic that she has a parking lot! Like all of the brow salons around this area, Saturday is the absolute worst day to head out here unless you want to wait around 20 minutes or so. I try to make it in on a Sunday around mid-afternoon. There are plenty of current women's fashion magazines in the waiting area. Bring cash as I'm really not sure that they take credit cards. Went to Beena's to get henna with my sister. Beena was very friendly. We didn't have an appointment but were seen right away. The two women that did our henna did beautiful designs. $25 for henna from fingertips to forearm bend. It only took about 45 minutes for the both of us. They sealed the henna in with the blow dryer and instructed us not to put my hand in any water until tomorrow. Great customer service and great work. Will definitely be back. read more

DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER... VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! She takes advantage of nice people... So we get to this place and ask her for henna tattoo design and made payments to her. While I was getting henna tattooed she lets her coworker go. Everything was going well, until she starts getting customers she kept making me wait 5 min then 10 min then 20 minutes while she took other customers and did their eyebrows and hair dye! while my henna wasn't even partially done! Can you believe it??? I shouldn't have waited past 5 min.. Then she says I have to take other customers I can't do anything until I'm done with them. Are you serious??? ****Brazilian wax gone Bad! I was expecting a thong to put on before waxing, but i was not given one. NO NUMING CREAM OR SPRAY AT ALL!!!! so you can just imagine how that went. I've seen videos of how a proper brazilian wax is done, and had gone to other PROFECIONAL PLACES, and this is definetly NOT A PROFECIONAL ONE. Did not went to beauty school in the USA. After getting massacred by an eyebrow waxing job twice in a row from my usual place I decided to finally give threading a try. My friend swears by Beena and encouraged me to check it out. Well, it's been a week since I was threaded and my brows still look GREAT! To me, It is painful--it just felt like getting massively tweezed--and it probably depends on how much work needs to be done. But Beena did a wonderful job with the shaping and threading. A few minutes of stinging during threading was definitely worth it to get wonderfully shaped eyebrows. (and symmetrical too--can't say enough about having equal eyebrows, y'know?) The place is in an old mini strip mall so there's lots of spots for parking. The salon looks pretty old, it's bare and definitely no frills. But Beena and the woman working with her that day are so friendly and were fun to talk to. It's a drive for this suburban gal, but just gives me an excuse to go out with my gal TL and perhaps another visit to Sabri. read more

This is a two part review : Came here to get henna done for my Moroccan themed baby shower with a girlfriend . Found a great deal on groupon and decided to upgrade to get a bigger design done . The henna was amazing !Beena does a beautiful job at replicating pictures you show her that you want . You can tell she has been doing this a long time and I would definitely come back if I ever wanted henna done and would also recommend her to others .She gets 5 starts for henna hands down ! Now for part two : While there I realized she also does nails . Sure its a tiny little place and not much of a selection but I was in a crunch as my shower was the next day and my nails looked awful with old chipped polish so decided to kill two birds with one stone . BAD IDEA ! She pushed back my cuticles so hard she made one of them bleed and the rest had pockets of skin wide open from her going to far !My cuticles hurt for days after !The polish chipped hours later and by the next day half were chipped . My friend said the same thing about her manicure . She said it was the worst manicure she has ever had and I agree .She really shouldn't be charging full price regular salon prices when she clearly doesn't know what shes doing and the place is not nice or really that clean ,I saw used nail tools scattered everywhere and a sanitizing machine that didnt work and was just being used as storage .. Uggh I should have steered clear then but I was desperate to have nice looking nails the next day that I still didn't get . She gets one star for manicures read more

I had an extremely bad allergic reaction to the henna at this salon, which is weird cuz I've gotten henna done several times and never had any problems. I do not recommend doing henna here as I am still struggling with the rash a week later and taking medication to heal it. The doctor told me that they may have put some extra ingredient in the henna to make it darker or dry faster. When I called to ask, they said it is all herbs but I highly doubt it cuz my hand looks like it's been burned. I hate leaving bad reviews, but I just want to warn others so no one else suffers, especially if you have sensitive skin. Just be careful read more

My eight year old granddaughter wanted a henna tattoo. Neither of us knew what to expect. I called the day before and she said sure come on in anytime. My granddaughter had drawn a picture of what she wanted. It took about 15 minutes. It was beautiful. Benna was very nice . I also had my eyebrows threaded woo did it hurt but very well done. She is precise, ensures that my brows are fabulous, and ends the service with a quick eyebrow/temple massage. I have also used her waxing services, which are also excellent. Don't ever go to this salon for manicure or pedicure. My usual place was packed full and I needed to get my nails done so I saw this Beena and went in. The biggest mistake of my life. The ladies were friendly but had no idea of what they were doing. She put oil all over my nails and started to paint my finger nails without wiping off the oil. I had to explain to her that the oil will not allow the nail polish to dry. She looked puzzled at the suggestion, but I made her wipe the nails with alcohol before painting.. I don't think they went to a beauty school in USA. Secondly, she snipped off some skin from my middle finger that bled for almost 10 minutes, and it later got infected. Beena does a great, efficient and relatively painless job on a full leg wax. The Brazilian she gave me wasn't as painless as the full leg wax but she was quick and let me take a quick break when needed, plus when compared to other waxers that I have been too, she administers less pain than most. The waxing room is nothing to write home about or let your babies hang out in, but when you're paying 35 for a full leg wax that includes the tops of your toes and bikini line, you can't complain. read more
