I remove my shoes-but not one person from this company did. 2nd I walked in on the cleaner using her shoe and my box of Lysol wipes to clean the floor. I HAVE a mop! After she left I was sweeping with a broom because I could see she didn't sweep in corners and had gone around things -and found my swiffer sweeper behind a curtain where I'd left it before I went to the hospital. I also mopped clean my floor after her. The second time she came she flooded my floors with water! When after 20 minutes I still couldn't walk on the floor because they were soaking wet she threw the rugs down on the wet floor and asked for a towel to mop up the wet. Yep. She used one of my good bath towels to wipe up the floor. She was about to walk out leaving a dirty tennis shoe print right in the middle of the floor. I had to ask her to clean it. Then when I asked to cancel the service, they asked if they could send the best, and supervisor of cleaning to clean for free and they would check with me afterwards about continuing the service. I said yes and I cleaned after HER! My grandson's missing sock was not 2 inches under the couch, I only swept under the couch because she said she did not move the couch so I figured that meant she didn't sweep under it. She obviously did not. There was a smoke film from a candle on a plastic dresser drawers I use for storage in the bathroom. I cleaned it off with a Lysol wipe. I mopped the floors CLEAN not just mopped. I shouldn't have to be cleaning after cleaners immediately after they leave. I'm so disappointed. But no, if that's how they "deep clean" for their required 4 hours minimum I'll do it myself in increments and it doesn't take me 4 hours even with no bending or twisting. And I do windows.

Their attitudes are unprofessional, defensive, and of you complain about caregiver's being cruel to your loved one, stealing, or not working, they will back up their employee. Beware, they will always steal and then disappear. They LOVE clients who are mute and immobile. They also love clients who are on Medicaid because they get paid more. Please do not leave your loved one unattended or off camera with them.

Please go to the medicare website and read the reviews on this facility. Look at how many times they've been investigated in the past 3 years. Look at the staff turnover rate. Do your due diligence and research this facility and NEVER place a person you love here. I will regret the decision to place my loved one here for the rest of my life. If not for the negligence of Granbury Care Center, my loved one would still be here. Stable upon entry and dead less than 48hours later. Do not make the mistake I did, or you'll live with it the rest of your life. I have reported this facility to the State. This is not the first time Granbury Care Center has violated the rights of their patient. I hope this place gets shut down.
