Parking is very where and as far as I could tell - FREE!! I got the oatmeal milk stout and my son got a root beer. The stout was really smooth, I wish I could've had more. Nestled in Downtown Woodbine it has the feel of a local small town Pub. I arrived on a Wednesday evening after opening, and before long there were six of us in the bar seats, talking Royals baseball and college football, while the bar keep was getting a new recipe for killer Bloody Marys from a patron. I had a flight of their beers, their IPA, Oktoberfest, Spiced Pumpkin and their Porter. The Porter and IPA were both above average, the Porter was actually very good! I did notice they served spent grain pizzas, but they didn't look like they needed trying. Then the manager brought over the set in the pictures. I ended up wiping it on the napkin so I could use it. Suggested they change their brand of dishwasher detergent and was told they could not, because it came from Corporate. Ordered the 6 oz sirloin, cooked medium rare. When I put the knife in, it moo'd! Asked for it to be cooked a little more, and it still came out raw in the middle. I gave up. The mashed potatoes and broccoli needed salt. Overall the food was under seasoned. This is the first time I declined a to go box for uneaten food - It was not worth the calories!
