Top vets Richard and Clive, the other vets and all the wonderful nurses are super willing to help, and were right there in our hour of need, when the little guy was bitten by a husky - a bite that pulled a huge section of skin away from his side. Without their help in putting him back together, he would be pushing up the daisies or suffering an uncomfortable decline now, so they get the thumbs up from me. The vets are good with other procedures also: the dog's had a pair of replacement cruciate ligaments, which were not cheap, especially when one played up a short while after the op and had to be tightened a little further. But again, they have given the old boy a really amazing quality of life at his age and with the miles he has under his collar, so hats off to them for all their help. One day I'll find out about this pet insurance malarkey. Bit too late for this one!

You get asked every time now for a donation and are made to feel guilty, when you have to explain you have nothing you can give that day. All of this is done infront of everyone in the waiting room, and they even put on the system how much you have donated, when you can give them something. I had to have my dog put to sleep recently after being part of the family for 11 years. We were obviously upset, but was also crying because of the way things were done, which I will not go into, but felt so guilty leaving my dog like that.

I had all his paperwork with me showing all his medical treatments. I was then told by a nurse he needed to have a test for bruscella. Even though I had told them he had never been to France. She said it would be free hahaha. What. He had a test also booster then she said he had to leave through back door. Never again will I go to this vet. Appointments were also readily available usually you could get one for the next day. The vets itself is very modern as they have recently redecorated. There are seperate sections for you to sit depending on what animal you have which I believe makes it a lot less stressful for the animal. Ultimately they reason why we left was because of the prices - they did start to get more expensive especially when we compared them to other Vet's fees. The staff are very professional, very helpful and capable. I found the vet I saw (Teresa) was extremely friendly, very caring and very honest. She put me at ease and was very thorough with explaining the advice regarding my cat. I felt genuinely cared for and would not hesitate to recommend this practice to anyone.

My cat had a gum infection and she wanted me to have two very expensive blood tests as she insisted the cat had leukaemia it had nothing of the sort. My cat often gets gum infections because she kills birds and mice and they cause the infections (something told to me by my previous vet in Cumbria where I went with my cat for 5 years so I think he was right). The blood tests would have cost me £140. Money I simply do not have. I insisted that she gave me antibiotic tablets, after an argument she gave me the tablets and I gave the necessary donation for these. Now my cat is fine. This woman really is a very bad vet and should not be working for the PDSA. I would have given no stars but this was not an option on this website
