All of the produce used at Beeatroot is 100% organic and their juices are cold pressed. Everything is scratch made in house, except for their nut-mylks. I ordered a turmeric and ginger elixir with a splash of apple and lemon, sprinkled with black pepper on top- wow! I'm pretty sure that was the best-tasting elixir I've had the pleasure of tasting. I sampled every one of the juices on hand and ordered a lighter ginger concoction. Overall, the juices had a nice combo of produce choices resulting in recipes with a pleasurable and palatable taste. Beeatroot is hardcore about their juicing process. They use the old fashioned double pressed method ensuring the highest nutritional content in their cold pressed juices. I have only had smoothies here. However, my 9yr old daughter was right when she said "it's better than planet smoothie or any other smoothie places we have ever been". The interior is a little small. They do not have an extensive menu but the option I tired was very delicious and refreshing. The price was a little more expensive than I was accustomed to but I think this has something to do with the mason jar I need to bring back. This place is a gem! It's a very small place located inside of DaVinci Studios, right off the main drag that runs through downtown Deland. From my understanding, they serve fresh smoothies & organic coffee too. I had their organic, fresh, cold-pressed juice. I bought two! So glad that I did. They serve each juice in Mason Jars which you can keep. When you bring a jar back, they'll give you .50 off your next drink. Whenever I come across a juice bar, I always stop. The juices at Beeatroot are some of the BEST I have ever tasted! Really! I had their Pineapple Express which was described to me as "candy in a glass". It was EXACTLY what I needed after my workout. It had the perfect amount of sweetness. I also got their Switchroot juice which had beets & ginger in it. It's a very cute & clean place. Can't wait to go back! Go here! You will not be disappointed!
