The sales person tried very hard to find what I needed, but it didn't work out. I wish I had gotten his name. Very nice guy!

Was waiting to go to nearby barber so I stopped by to look at outdoor furniture. The store has a…read moreconsiderable array of inventory for every room in your home- most of the manufacturers are upscale so be prepared to pay. The woman who helped me was nice and showed me the two lines they carried outside but also provided me with catalogues and on line web sites to explore. Worth a visit if in the Rosemary district of Sarasota.

Delivery was delayed as Ashley said they received only one mattress and had to wait for the second. Once delivery was made it became immediately evident that one mattress was thicker than the other. I was tempted to refuse delivery, but was told by their delivery person that these mattresses, which were shipped rolled up in a box, take up to 24 hours to fully expand. Well, "full expansion" never occurred and one mattress remains thicker than the other. Ashley did nothing until we filed a dispute with the finance company. Ultimately, they have sent a technician to the house twice, and have confirmed, on both inspections, that the mattresses are different heights. Ashley insists that they meet specification and will not correct. This leaves one side of a king size bed higher than the other. Our recommendation is to not buy from Ashley as their quality is questionable, and their customer support is non-existent. Should you elect to proceed with a purchase, please inspect thoroughly on delivery and refuse immediately if there are any problems/defects; otherwise getting your purchase corrected will be very difficult, if at all.

Throughout the whole experience, I was concerned because there would be strangers in my home. Barry came to the house to appraise the items and he made us feel comfortable and gave us what seemed like a fair price. We scheduled a pick-up, but I was again concerned that there would be strangers in my home picking up the furniture. Joe and Will showed up and immediately put us at ease. I think Joe might be one of the nicest people I've ever met. They were great! We used Iverson's again and Joe and Jeff showed up the second time. Again, it was a great experience! Joe, Will, and Jeff were respectful of us and our home. They didn't ask for a thing; we had to offer them water and such. They were the utmost professional gentlemen and they were even fun and easy to talk to. It is important to add, given the nature of their jobs, that they knew what they were doing. For example, the first time, they were taking a very large wall unit and Joe and Will knew exactly how it came apart for the easiest removal and transport. Yet, in taking it apart, they did nothing to harm our home. I cannot adequately express how appreciative we were of these guys making us feel comfortable while they were in our home and knowing how to get the job done! The only challenge in the whole process was that there was a discrepancy in the amount I was owed, but Barry rectified it when I told him, which I appreciated. Iverson's also paid me for a consignment item, which I was thrilled with. I would absolutely use Iverson's again to sell items!

Excellent customer service. No pressure sales. Will go to Iverson's first before going anywhere…read moreelse!!

Unfortunately aside from showing dirt, it sustained some unnatural discoloration and premature wear. I phoned my salesman, Taj who has always been very helpful. In lew of repainting the furniture, the company decided to replace it with something else. I appreciate that. I went to see Taj, who had suggested a nice replacement for the furniture. After looking at all my options, I unknowingly chose the set that Taj had recommended. Needless to say, I am writing to say, I am very happy with the furniture and the service I received. Taj is an asset to your company and its nice to know The Furniture Warehouse insures their product. P.S. I had purchased the warranty. Thanks, Paula Scott

In 2019, I furnished my entire house at Furniture Warehouse. At that time, we ordered and paid for…read moretwo power recliners as part of the furnishing of the entire house. We received one power and one manual recliner. The manager and I played phone tag, and he ultimately never got back to me, so I paid for something I never received. I was not happy to pay for something I did not get the benefit of, but the one power recliner worked well and those chairs served us well until recently when they were just too old and needed replacing. When we were in the market for new recliners in October of 2024, the chairs we purchased in 2019 were no longer available. So, I purchased two identical power recliners (one of which is pictured (the store model, not our chair)) outright for $2,182,96 including tax and delivery charges. The chairs were delivered on October 19, 2024. One was used by my mother who had been in and out of the hospital three times since August. The other was used by my uncle who is in congestive heart failure and likes to sleep in a recliner to breathe easier. Neither chair's power feature felt right since they arrived; they always felt wobbly, if that makes sense. The power feature never felt sturdy like our 2019 power recliner from Furniture Warehouse. By November 2024 (a month after we purchased it), my mom's recliner broke. Last week, four months after we purchased it, my uncle's recliner broke. Neither one of them is strong enough to make the chair recline manually. I asked Furniture Warehouse to pick up both chairs and refund the full total I paid for them so I can start over and get my recovering mother and sick uncle reclining power chairs that will actually work. I see the negative reviews Furniture Warehouse has online, but I thought it more fair to reach out to them directly to see if they would help me rather than take to the internet. However, Maggie was zero help. I asked her to escalate. She escalated to Carol in Furniture Repair. Carol never told me what she does for Furniture Warehouse; I had to ask. She then proceeded to tell me the recliners would be repaired and she could do nothing else for me. In my opinion, Carol conveyed zero empathy and zero customer-service savvy. Before I became an attorney, I did customer service jobs and I always listened with compassion and tried to solve for customers' concerns. As an attorney, I do the same now with my clients. There was none of that with Carol. I, likely, would have been better off with GenAI helping me as it could have given me the same pat, gate-keeping responses Carol did. I explained to Carol that since both chairs were made poorly and both broke, common sense tells us that they'll break again after repair, and I need working recliners for recovering/sick relatives. I asked Carol to either pick them up and refund my money -OR- replace them with something that will work. She would do neither, so I asked to speak to a General Manager, but she would not allow me to talk to anyone other than those in the Furniture Repair department. Carol ended up hanging up on me. In 2019, I paid for a power recliner I never received and I never made a fuss with Furniture Warehouse after furnishing my entire house with them. Now, I ask them to help me after they sold me horrific quality products and they won't?! I see my business truly does not matter to them one bit, so I will no longer use Furniture Warehouse when I furnish my properties. I already reached out to orders@thefurniturewarehouse.com, so no need to give me your standard response with that email address as it was no help.

The team was warm, attentive, and remarkably knowledgeable, offering thoughtful guidance with a refined, no-pressure approach. I would highly recommend this store to anyone seeking luxury furnishings and a truly elevated experience.

All of this hullabaloo stemmed from the owner, Teliee, not being able to deliver an unstained and non-defective piece of furniture that I bought under customary conditions from Soft Square. Instead of providing me with the replacement for my Soft Square furniture that was delivered damaged and delivering on the store guarantee (promised back in August) to replace it, Soft Square's owner, Teliee, refused to honor the store promise and proceeded to raise his voice and yell expletives. Teliee seems to be a misogynist and disrespected female customers in a way he would never speak to a male customer. He was verbally abusive and repeatedly said, "F*** you and get out of my store" in lieu of honoring the store guaranty. Please note that no raised voices or expletives were uttered by me or my daughter. The owner has severe anger management issues and is not fit to deal with customers. He proceeded to inform us that many pieces of furniture arrive damaged and that somehow after spending a 4-figure sum, I should be expected to deal with this defect in furniture....  Please note that even Ikea guarantees that furniture will arrive in mint condition. He spoke to us with such disrespect for female customers that I was truly shocked and disappointed. It was extremely hostile behavior and not commensurate to the environment of such a store. He tried to bully us and was verbally aggressive to coerce us to accept a less-than-suitable solution. He tried to force us to accept the cheapest and shabbiest form of repair (which likely would have resulted in a perpetually damaged item) instead of the promised replacement. He went back on the word of the store manager, which I have email evidence of. Deann, the sales representative, was condescending and berated us repeatedly. She did not listen to any of our concerns and insisted that nothing was wrong with our furniture despite previous acknowledgement of the issue. She then pretended that she never saw emails where the store manager promised a proper replacement of the damaged item. After buying from high-end furniture stores for over three decades, I suggest you take your business elsewhere. There are numerous furniture stores in the area which have great customer service not only during the sale but after as well. If you'd like to simply buy a piece, one has to hope they never deal with the owner, Teliee, or the sales representative, Deann, after the sale. This was, by far, the worst customer service and experience I have ever experienced from any store.
