I mean I'm cheap I had one 2 weeks ago I'm fine. But my buddies felt otherwise they fired me up saying I needed a cut ASAP so they convince me and I chose a shop randomly. And I may have had my best experience at mirage barber shop. The couches were very deep and comfy I almost fell asleep. The door was open and the forecast had a light drizzle that day. Perfect barber shop atmosphere. I call d ahead to see how long the wait was which wasn't too bad I was next in line( they don't do appointments by the way, but you can call to see how many people are waiting) so I waited maybe 20 minutes and the barber and some buddies were talking and I just felt so comfortable and relaxed there with their laughter and foreign language filling the room. Now onto the haircut, I popped in the seat showed him a pic of what I wanted and mans went right to work. I don't remember his name, but my barber knew exactly what he was doing. I have medium length hair and like it styled a certain way and he blew my expectations right out the door. The best part of the cut was the beard lineup. Now I don't have much facial hair so just a nice clean up was what I was expecting. But somehow some way this man works magic with the straight razor you can tell by the pic and video I posted. I was shocked I had a nice looking scruff that was lined up. I happily tipped him as much as I could. And I made a new friend and a permeant haircut place anytime I'm in New Orleans it anytime someone asked me about a place for a haircut in New Orleans.
