We had a wonderful experience with him. Spas by the Bay has a great showroom with a lot of models. They took the time to explain how to use the chemicals and what would be a better system for us a salt vs chemicals. When I did my research, hot spring spas are the Mercedes of all spas. They have the best warranties and are the most energy efficient and less maintenance/more reliable.

We got a 2026 model Hotspring Jetsetter LX. Best hot tub I have ever been in, super quiet, powerful jets. We use it a few times a week. I was a bit concerned about the power needs of keeping it hot but the insulation is amazing and the heater only comes on for a few minutes every 4 or 5 hours (see the graph from my Tesla power management app). The top is very light but keeps in heat and also the water. Only had to add a bit of water after 3 months! Recommend this equipment and this vendor. I can't comment yet on their warranty service as the product has been flawless.

I was connected almost immediately when it had anything to do with a potential sale. The moment I called to address a concern, crickets. This tells you everything you need to know about where their priorities actually lie, and it also makes me genuinely question how authentic their current reviews are. Here's what happened. I visited their Sand City, California location on July 9, 2026. No greeting when I walked in. After browsing independently for nearly 10 minutes, you know, the thing you're supposed to do in a mattress store, I reclined on a display mattress and was abruptly told by an associate "hey, you can't be on there ". No explanation. No apology. When I asked for clarification, I got "just not that one". And when I followed up, he turned to me an elevated and aggressive tone and asked, "are you OK?" A question that had nothing to do with customer service and everything to do with intimidation. I exited the store shocked by what had just happened but returned 2 minutes later to demand to speak with Director or above. I ended up texting the store manager the same day. Read receipt confirmed. Did not address the issue as I asked. I also sent a formal written complaint on the same day to corporate customer service. No response. I followed up again on July 17 to emails directly from their website. No response. I called corporate on July 31 and was connected immediately, because again, it rang like a sales call. I was provided a new email contact and told someone would reach out. That was weeks ago. Still nothing. So here we are. If Yelp allowed it, this would be a a -5 star. I'm not easily rattled, and I don't write reviews out of emotion. I write them after I've done everything right and been ignored at every turn. This company had multiple opportunities to acknowledge a legitimate concern and chose silence every single time. That's not an oversight. That's a choice. Shop elsewhere. When I shared my experience with a friend I was told of a similar experience she had at that location. I am not writing about it because I myself was not witness to this however encourage anyone and everyone who has had a bad experience to post it on Yelp as customers should be aware of what occurs there and maybe then management will take customer concerns seriously and conduct their own internal investigation of these matters.

I didn't know this place existed until I found it on Yelp and am glad I visited. When you walk in there are rows and rows of a variety of different plants that are overall healthy and well cared for. I was greeted shortly after my arrival by an man who said to let him know if I needed any help, which I appreciated. He didn't hover over me as a browsed, which is always nice. There are different rooms with everything from plants, metal artwork, pots, planting material, and gifts. The outside area is impressive with a large collection of ferns, succulents, cacti and flowers. I didn't find a hoya I liked but did find a beautiful red Salvia flower and bright pink Geranium I couldn't pass up. Overall the value of the plants is worth it but did see some overpriced plants. I fully support local businesses and understand retail stores don't always carry the quality you get from a shop like this.
