ALERT - BUYER BEWARE…read more I recently had furniture delivered to my home, and the experience was beyond unacceptable. The delivery team caused significant damage--holes in my walls, scraped paint off my railings, and even ripped out ceiling light fixtures. When the company sent someone out to "fix" the damage, the repairs were rushed and poorly done, leaving my walls looking worse than before. To make matters even more frustrating, the owner contacted me with a dismissive and unprofessional attitude. Now I'm left paying out of pocket to properly repair damage that THEY caused. To top it all off, one of the movers behaved inappropriately and asked me for a hug. Completely unacceptable. I take pride in my home--it's a beautiful condo--and this is the condition they left it in. I will NEVER shop here again. Please think twice before using this company. Shop at your own risk.

We were told the mattress was made right there in the shop and guaranteed for life. She told us if we weren't 100% satisfied we could exchange and it would be prorated. The delivery was late to show up. Did not receive a call to say how late beyond the time frame they would be. Since they were over an hour and half late I had to cancel due to a prior commitment. We had the mattress for approx 2 months and it just wasn't comfortable and continually had a sore back. I went back to the store to talk about replacing and exchanging the mattress. Was told I could not return or exchange it. Reminded her of what she promised when we bought the mattress. She said I could sell it on Kijiji and Asians would buy it. Was Offered another mattress I could purchase but I would be responsible for the original mattress. It was a very disappointing experience. We thought we were doing the right thing by purchasing local and based on her telling us about the exchange of the mattress if we were not 100% satisfied. She told us what we needed to hear to purchase from them but did not stand behind her lip service. I will never again deal with Riley's room and I will make sure I tell everyone about their very poor costumer service.

Christmas Eve arrives, delivery says "there's ice" and they cannot deliver. There was a light sprinkle of snow and my walk was salted. Fast forward to the end of February, delivery reminder call says my order will arrive between 11:45 and 2/3 in the afternoon. I get a phone call that left a vm saying they will arrive in 10-15 minutes this call came at 9:30. I didn't hear the phone as I was preparing my laundry room for my new appliances. My dogs start barking, I see the truck out my window at 9:50. I go to my front door and stand there with the door open for 20 minutes. Not one person left the truck in this entire time. I received another delivery while standing there! Imagine 2 months since anticipated arrival of your appliances without having any working. I want to terminate my order and receive a complete refund, Teppermans is attempting to hold a 10% deposit regardless of their inadequacies and failure to provide my items in a reasonable time. Samsung could have had my items delivered to me by the end of November, I could have Costco deliver similar items in a week. I will NEVER EVER AGAIN shop Teppermans and I strongly suggest you don't either!
