Each room comes with it's own bathroom, though the bathrooms are the type you would find in an RV or caravan, very small and compact. While the kitchen lacks a large refrigerator, each room comes with a small one (but without a freezer compartment). The worst part about this place is that living here will cause injury to your body. As the rooms are so tiny, you will find yourself crashing into different parts of the room to get access to anything else. Also, you only get 4 power outlets, so best bring a power strip. Finally, ventilation in the rooms are almost nonexistent. Doors are forced shut by "fire safety" and windows can only be cracked open. There are no vents or ducts, besides a little fan in the bathroom that is very noisy. Also, leaving the bathroom door open will block access to the closet or room lights. All in all, students should only pick this place for its location, not anything else.

Still pretty cool. The house itself is quite nice; it IS one of the ten Treasure Hosues of England, you know. Personally, I found the grounds far more interesting. There are several gardens to wander through, such as the knot garden and scented garden. There are so many beautiful flowers and sculptures to admire whilst wandering around. This is a gorgeous place for afternoon picnics or just to lay in the sun and read. Outdoor concerts and films are shown in the summer as well, I'm planning to catch one at some point in the next couple of months. I'm knocking off a star because: * according to the website and the pamphlets inside, the last people are admitted at 4:00 pm. So why were the doors locked at 3:10??

If you are a historian, you can book in advance to arrage appointment with the archive to arrange viewing of pleading letters from Thomas Comwell. They have a really well maintained gardens too good for picnics. It was ashamed weather turned on us. Pictures are allowed but with no flash. However I didn't realised thus at the gift shops sections so pictures were not allow in that area!

Once we arrived in our room, we were very pleased to see how clean the space is and it is very chic! It reminds me of a cute bachelor pad! The aparthotel space was enough for three people. It came with a bedroom, bathroom, living room with a pull out bed and a small kitchen area that is fully equipped with utensils and refrigerator. If we wanted to, we could have cooked. This hotel has a nearby walkable grocery market which was convenient. Also, I recommend eating at the Indian restaurant within the hotel, it is called Takaa Tak. We had an amazing dinner. Worth to check out. Overall, I highly recommend staying at this hotel!

Use this rail to get to Paddington and central London. The surrounding area is kinda sketch compared to central London, but they've got markets with fresh vegetables and fruit down the street if you're trying to cook a quick meal in-room. I stayed here with a friend on the last week of May 2019. ROOM: Pretty compact. The photos make it look bigger, but it's fine for two people. However on our first night we found half a pizza in the fridge. Towels had stains on them and there were blonde hair strands on the bathroom floor and shower walls. The glasses had hard water residue at the bottoms and some knives hadn't been washed. INSPECT YOUR ROOM BEFORE UNPACKING. We had just arrived from a 11hr flight and were too tired to repack. We were reimbursed however. SERVICE: I have to give them credit for their customer service. They always took care of us in person and over the phone if we needed anything. Also you can check in early if you book direct at no charge. The hotel itself has a youthful vibe and fun details. I'd given it 3 stars because they could really improve on cleanliness. But convenience of location and good service was definitely worth another.

This is one of the best sights in London, yet many people have never heard of it. Most people discover it by chance, while riding on a bus towards the city centre. This building is definitely one of city's hidden treasures. Today this building houses offices of number of prominent media and retail companies - ASOS, EMAP, Young & Rubicam. The building is situated right opposite the Mornington Crescent tube station. The front facade of the building still holds a name 'Carreras', the original owner. The original use of the building was a tobacco factory. It was built in the 1920s, in art deco style, representative of that decade. The whole structure is built in the style of Egyptian cat temple, at the height of Egyptian Art Deco period. Two massive black marble cat statues guard the entrance to the temple. The facade is beautifully decorated and painted in vibrant colours. In fact, the whole building was lovingly restored at the beginning of 1990s, after decades of neglect. It is a popular object for both amateur and professional photographers.

Having fallen through once due to my original buyer pulling out, and then almost falling through again on the day before exchange it was Stuart's level headed totally professional mediating that convinced the seller of the house I'm buying to stick with me and keep the whole deal on track. No room cleaning or service during your stay (they do on the sixth night). I actually liked that. No need to enter my room every day. I'm good with 4 day old towels. That I used They have a full (although completely unstacked) kitchen. Bathroom is pretty nice. The only real downside is that the bed is HARD! Unless you like firm mattresses, this is not the place for you. Love in all other respects.

Sometimes it was ok, other times it would continually go from boiling hot to freezing cold. The instructions in the booklet were for a different shower. We also had dishwasher tablets but no dishwasher...
