The courts (3) are well lighted and have a great surface. The facility is better than average with a workout area and plenty of seating for parents to watch. All courts/nets are in great condition and the lighting is just right, which is very important. It can get fairly hot/humid on the courts during summertime but this is the case for every indoor tennis facility unfortunately as they all have poor air circulation and cooling systems. They have good viewing areas and clean locker rooms. People who work there are courteous and friendly.

It has the only racquetball courts in the area, you get a free trainer session to start you off, lots of options for working out including pilates and the stretchy band things, tennis courts, indoor track...I haven't tried the pool yet but they have indoor and outdoor, steam room and sauna plus whirlpool and I don't have to share it with gross teens or men. Restaurant on site serves excellent food. Snack bar does not have lattes, one drawback. Another BIG plus is the spa- excellent prices on pedicures, really nice products, I love my facials here, also has massage. They have another location in Hooksett convenient to my house, but I like the main club much better.

MITC is the perfect indoor tennis club for this small corner of SW NH. It is fairly bare bones --…read moreit is administered by a volunteer board and depends on members to be self-sufficient in navigating the club. That being said, this keeps the membership fees very reasonable. Court times are reserved online, and it is rare to be completely shut out of your preferred playing times on a regular basis. An added plus is that members do not need to pay for court reservations, unlike several clubs in the area. There are opportunities to play, no matter what your level. There are groups that are purely fun, recreational tennis, including plenty of social nights for fun play. For the more competitive players, there are USTA teams at many levels which often welcome new members. MITC has also ramped up their kids programs in the last year -- there are more offerings for junior tennis, open to the whole community. There is also quality instruction offered by tennis pros -- both in group settings and private lessons. They work with all ages and on your schedule. While there is not an in-house shop for gear, there are regular visits by equipment pros who can help with stringing racquets and finding the best gear for you. I've been a member for 5+ years. My entire family has taken advantage of everything MITC offers, and we're absolutely pleased with our experience there. They have 3 softball-baseball fields although one is too small to be used for adults. They have a skate park one of the only one within 30-minutes in any direction an outdoor basketball court that is in good condition for how old it is and how much use it gets. There are a lot of good games here and the skate park sees a lot of activity. The fields are packed for almost all of the spring and summer so it is harder to walk on. If you want to walk on for a pick up game go to ConVal or PES. There is a pool that i think opens in late June or early July and there is a playground area for the kids that has been kept in good condition. Ecco field (closest to the road) is doubled for soccer use and because of that there is no fence in right but that adds a neat feature for that. skating for hockey or just skating in the winter, sometimes is hard to keep maintained but they do a good job all things considering. Parking is hard to come by if they have a lot of people playing softball on all the fields. Some scrap construction materials laying around so you need to keep an eye on your kids for that. Tennis courts that have been kept in very good condition. One of the best features of any town in the area.

Tons of toddler swings, regular swings, a tire swing, a baby/toddler area where everything is scaled down for them with a small climbing "wall", slide, steps, rocking "animals" & fire "truck", etc. On the bigger kids side there are monkey bars, big slides, big "rope" ladder, big climbing wall, & more! There's the biggest sandbox I've ever seen, filled with over 20+ plastic & metal Tonka dump trucks & a kid's size pretend house area with a table & benches. There's a bubbler there which is nice on hot summer days & a few trees provide some shade, although depending on the time of day & where the sun is, there are times when the heat is just unbearable & there's really very little shade. There are benches scattered all over the playground & two picnic tables under the trees, next to the rhododendron bushes. Across the street there are bathrooms in the little building next to the baseball fields. They're usually pretty gross but hey, they service both areas & there's only 1 woman's stall & 1 men's stall so it's not surprising. Next to the playground there's a pool, basketball courts, tennis courts, big gazebos, & a big (mostly) shaded parking lot.

I've stopped by this shop several times, and though I'm a beginner, the person I go with is pretty experienced. But for some reason, every time we came here, I felt like the owner did not want to help us. I don't know what it was, because I'm generally super polite when I first meet people - especially if I need help. I don't want to assume, but for whatever reason, the staff here was extremely unfriendly to us every time we stopped by. And I noticed this even more a couple of times when the owner was helping other customers in the store - and being extra nice to them. Even other beginners. I just felt really unwanted and out of place. I'm not going to repeat the rude things the owner said to us, but it was very clear he didn't want our business. I'm really disappointed especially since there isn't an abundance of tennis and squash shops around.
