For the amount you're paying, this hotel is definitely worth it. The room itself was fairly small, especially the bathroom, but it was worth the price.
We arrived to the hotel just passed 3pm and at the moment of arrival we were a bit confused since there was no one present and the location seemed closed. The check in location is a bit secluded and dim, thankfully they have some signs to guide you. The check-in process was pretty quick, maybe about 5 minutes. The gentleman at the desk provided us with city maps, Wi-Fi info, our room key, and two complimentary Interlaken transportation passes (for local bus use only). One of the downsides to this hotel is the fact that there was no elevator, so just be prepared to carry your luggage to your room. Luckily it wasn't a big deal for us, but I can see how this could potentially be a disadvantage for other guests. Like I mentioned the room itself was fairly small, but for the price you are paying this wasn't a big deal. The room has a TV along with your channel guide, the bed was pretty comfortable, and thankfully the shower had a door (since most European showers just have half a glass covering). The location also has a shared kitchen for their guests. You're welcomed to store your refrigerated items in the fridge (make sure to note your room number on the items), use their utensils, or any of their kitchen supplies. They only ask for you to leave everything as it was, aka make sure to clean up after yourself.
Great stay! Can only review based on a two-night stay during the winter period. If you are planning on staying during the summer time period, I would look into other possible options since they do not have AC. read more
