What a great place and awesome service. I went to Bed Mart on a hunt for a full size bed for 11 year old son. Not wanting to spend a ton of money Al was very helpful in showing me beds that were within my price range and explaining about each bed, warranty and life that we would get out of it. Never ever buy here. The people who work there lie. They sell matresses that unravel and fall apart. I bought an expensive mattress, got it home, saw it was unravelling. I was argued with, told I don't know what I'm talking about there are always strings hanging. It's unraveling all over. Then told they would get me another one. Had to wait for that. In the meantime my husband fractured his spine and can no longer pick up a mattress. So I explained to Aaron that if I would of gotten a new mattress that wasnt unravelling we wouldnt be in thia situation and asked if they could please help us by delivering the non-defective one. I was told the manager would call me and never did. Then I called 2 days later and spoke to Patrick, who is the only person there who has a heart, he said absolutely. I will be there at 1pm and call you when I'm on the way, I'm in the area and we will waive the delivery charge. Then 30 mins beforehand, The owner Al or Sam or whatever he decides to call himself the day you speak to him... It changes each time calls and tells my husband if you dont pay $50 I'm not delivering it. ***Why should we have to pay for your mistake of selling us a mattress that is unravelling?!?!? I have never dealt with someone so heartless and doesn't care to help customers or make things right. I'd rather pay 100s more than to be so disrespected. He literally told me on the phone that I want everything for free? No... I just want what I paid for... Which is a new $1400 mattress. So finally I was able to borrow a truck and have someone help me (as I'm a woman and couldn't do it myself) bring the DEFECTIVE mattress back to exchange it. He didn't even introduce himself or apologize. As you would hope an owner would do for his customers. We loaded the new mattress and went home. Within only an hour we then received a THREATENING message from the owner to never call him again. Unbelievable. I CANNOT believe they are still in business. Highly recommend this store! Al the assistant manager was very knowledgeable and helped me stay in budget. Aftet visiting other high pressure sales mattress stores, there was no comparison. Got a better mattress at the price quoted on a lower model elsewhere. Prices were by far the best around and no pressure. My sister remembered seeing a sign for the store and I am glad she did. I researched, yes, researched stores that sold just mattresses, online, whole sale stores, department stores from Macy's to Walmart and Ikea...I looked everywhere! And although I found what I was looking for I felt like the price was just outrageous for a twin sized bed and not much of a variety. My son just wanted a nice firm pillow top. On my way home I saw a sign for Bed Mart and decided to stop in. I was nervous because their show room is big and bright so I thought I'd get the typical salesman trying to get me to buy something I don't need plus I was with my 6 year old. Boy was I wrong! The sales man was knowledgeable, proffesionsl, and super friendly! Plus, he let my daughter try every single mattress while he pulled out EXACTLY what I was looking for and then as soon as I thought it was too good to be true he hit me with the price! 30% CHEAPER than anything I had found and much nicer quality! We went to Bed Mart on May 29, 2017 looking for a mattress for our guest room. We were kindly met shortly after we entered the store by a very nice salesman (sadly I do not recall his name at this time). He asked us what we were looking for and we told him "something nice but not to expensive". Without trying to up-sell us to the high end mattresses, he took us to see something that was right in our budget. We quickly had our options narrowed down to 3 great choices. He took time to tell us about features of mattresses that we previously never thought about. He was very knowledgable about all the different brands and types of mattresses. We chose our mattress and while writing up the order, he told us about how the store is family owned and a brief history of their store. While we were finishing up our order, I noticed how the other salesmen there were extremely nice and helpful to the other families that came in. I did not feel like they were rushing anyone into a purchase just to get them in and out of the store. They all did a great job talking to everyone there about what they were looking for and let the customers have the time to pick what they liked best. I purchased a mattress from Bed Mart in Algonquin IL to replace one that was worn after 10 years of use. After less than one year on the new mattress that was represented at the best they had I was sleeping in a crater. I called to complain and was directed by the stores manager to bring it in which was done. The stores owner SAM LICATA called used profanity towards me and said to come get the mattress that I dropped off there was nothing wrong with it!!!! Aside from being rude SAM LICATA known nothing about servicing a customer and I urge anyone who reads this to pass by Bed Mart and do business with another retailer that stands being what they sell! read more

The manager Stan greeted us with a friendly smile and did not show us the top of the line as I had anticipated but instead asked what we were looking for and started with an affordable middle range and from there found the right bed for us. I wish I went here first. It would have saved me so much time. I had been to five other mattress retailers before going to Bed Mart, and was comparing prices/quality. One retailer actually said that all other mattress retailers received inferior product from the manufacturers - that they were the only ones who received top quality product. It is difficult to compare 'apples to apples', given all mattresses are named something different at each store. 2 of the other stores prices were very similar to each other, and the others varied, but all of those were about $1000 - $1500 more expensive than the others. Then I saw the sign for Bed Mart - as I didn't know they were there until I saw the sign. I originally passed by and had to turn around to find it. WHAT A GEM! I loved the 2 men who were working that day. There were no high pressure sales. There was no insulting of other retailers. Just very pleasant, informative, straight forward sales. Compared to the other places I went, for the SAME manufacturer and level of quality - this place saved me $1000 - $2000 (depending on which retailer I am comparing). I bought a high quality bed at a very fair price. I shopped on Thursday, and they were able to deliver the mattresses that following Saturday. The delivery people were also very pleasant and contentious. There is nothing I didn't love about this place. If you are looking for mattresses - GO HERE FIRST AND YOU WON'T NEED TO LOOK ANYWHERE ELSE!! I can not say enough about Bed Mart. I recommend it highly. read more
