Then, my mother-in-law found out that they would have Christmas trees available as soon as Thanksgiving was over. We automatically made plans to go the Friday after Thanksgiving to get our tree. We had heard that they delivered and that you could order online, and to make it more convenient for us we were trying to do that but my husband called and there they were having website malfunctions. We decided to go there ourselves. We also saw them on the local news the night before so we thought that it was a sign! Upon arrival, we were surprised that it was moderately busy, but not bad at all for the day after Thanksgiving. We were able to go in, pick a tree, get it packaged and put on top of our car by their team, pay, and get out of there in less than 10 minutes. We also had a few photo opts that were really fun! I enjoyed this experience tremendously. Altogether I believe we paid $140 for a 7 1/2 noble fir plus packaging and tip. Reasonable prices, great service, and fun experience overall.

On the inside, it is very spacious and though free of aisle debris, the floors need a deep scrub. The employees are nice and greet you as you come in. There was someone on the registers and someone working the merchandise on the aisles. The shelves are all very well stocked, too. Something I love about Dollar Tree is that each location is different and focuses on a specific type of merch. Here, it would be cleaning supplies and plastic storage containers. The grocery aisles have a great selection too (I found A1 steak sauce for $1.25 and call that a good deal. Their Swiss Miss hot chocolate is also worth it with only six packets instead of eight but still way cheaper than a supermarket). I found a lot of cleaning supplies I needed I can't find at my local store, so that was also a plus for me. There wasn't a huge selection of hair clips or pet supplies (I was looking for cat collars and all they had were a couple in blue with no variety). Seasonal and party supplies were plentiful here though. The cooler section was kind of small but not bad. The aisles don't all make sense here. Books will be bunched with vases and toys will be across from automotive items in a few places. Otherwise, it's pretty standard. As a side note, this was the best selection I've seen out of every location for reusable bags Amber at the register was great. I appreciated her friendly conversation and bright smile, and that she was efficient. I would definitely return for the cleaning supplies and storage containers..

Rue 21…read morehas a great selection of both men and women's clothing and their items are priced very low compared to their competitors. The clothes and accessories are mainly for teens and young adults and they seem to always have a sale going on. I've seen a lot of "Buy 1 get 1 for $10" sales during different seasons at different locations. Because they have such a huge selection, a lot of their stores are cramped and it's usually a cluster when I shop there. I usually get annoyed trying to navigate my way through the cluster but this particular Rue 21, however, is different. The store was still a bit crowded with everything they try to cram in there, but things were neat and organized. In addition to their clothes and accessories, they sell shoes, perfume and cologne. I like the fact that they have a wide variety of everything they sell. They not only sell perfume but they sell a bunch of different kinds of perfume and the same goes for their shoes, sunglasses, necklaces, etc. The only mishap I had with this location was that they put my accessories in a small plastic bag but forgot to put it in the large bag with the rest of my clothes. I realized they forgot when I got back to my hotel and called right away. The employee remembered as soon as I explained what happened and was very apologetic. She said they would hold it for me and I could pick it up anytime they were open. I planned to pick it up the next day, which was Sunday but I was told that they open at noon on Sundays. Say what?! I found it kind of odd that they open so late on Sundays. It's OK Rue 21, I still love ya!
