They did an absolutely amazing job with him! They include more than a place I went previously and the cut is much more professional. I'm so pleased! He even smells amazing and his fur is incredibly soft! Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a groomer. Staff were friendly and efficient as well! Best price for what you get!

I have taken my furry baby to many places in Columbia to get his nails trimmed and self wash. Which…read morethey don't have a self wash room however now I have two furry babies and both of them needed their nails trim on a Sunday. During COVID and every place was busy or didn't have a groomer. So googled pet places open on a Sunday to do both of their nails. I saw Pet Fair so called and they said bring them right in. So we did and haven't stopped going here. The staff is amazing and the facility was very clean and how they treat animals that are boarded there looked like an incredible stay. If we needed somewhere to board our furry babies we would chose here. Thanks!!

My dog had trauma when he was younger. There was an issue with my window in my previous car, and…read morethe window collapsed while I was driving and he fell out of the car. I hurriedly got him back in the car and was terrified as I'm sure he was also. Ever since then, having his nails trimmed especially in the front was a living nightmare. I've had to physically restrain him at other groomers while he knocked over furniture, was desperate to escape, I had to put him in a headlock to restrain him it was TERRIBLE. Mandy and her staff are the dog whisperers. The last time he had his nails trimmed, he didn't require a hammock to assist! I think that is wonderful. I'm also not required to restrain him, nor be in the room while his nails are being trimmed. Dogs can behave worse when their parent is in the room. Which is excellent for me since I have chronic pain, so restraining is awful for me and him. Mandy is sweet natured and damn good at what she does!. My dog has PTSD bec he fell out the window of the car when he was a puppy. So grinding his paws is…read morevery traumatic for him. He screams, he wants to bite because it's fear based aggression. With a muzzle it's better but he's quite loud and requires a hammock to help get the job done. Sometimes he was ok, getting his nails done here, and other times not so much. The times that he did well was best for everyone. But he wasn't always going to be that cooperative. I tried to make another appointment with the use of his muzzle, but Mandy decided to ignore me when I asked if we could reschedule since she's out of town. ( She is hardly ever at work anyway) which doesn't promote good business.) Also, most of her nail grinders didn't work at one point. The absolute AUDACITY that people have when they are inconvenienced. The NERVE to catch an attitude when things get hard to handle! Bad enough she fired my dog, but didn't have the decency to give me a solution that might work better on my own. I also noticed how her staff had their faces twisted up when we tried to get his nails done the last time. It's not fun for me either but this is what you do for work, but you hate it? Might be time for a different job I think. When she ignored my text, I knew I had to figure something else out. Thankfully, I called another store who don't handle fear based aggression in dogs, BUT the nice lady I did speak to told me about scratch boards for dogs that you put the treat inside. They file their nails, they get a treat, and the pet mom breathes a sigh of relief. Not one groomer had enough sense to recommend the scratch board to me. I am grateful for the lady who was helpful (at a different store) and I will be sure to commend her online. So, unless your dog is super quiet, and wears a monocle while quietly reading a book and waiting for his nails to get done, don't bother. Because if there is a crisis with your dog, well, you saw what happened to me. I'm grateful for what she did do, but I don't appreciate the lack of respect when she didn't want to be bothered anymore. Choose wisely ppl. D

I am very pleased with my first experience working with Creature Comforts. I have two cats and just…read moremoved back to Columbia from the Chicago area. My husband and I travel a decent amount and need a good cat sitter for our little ones. They are both older cats and one requires medication twice a day in his mouth. I was nervous when I moved here that we wouldn't find someone who would be able to accommodate his needs but I couldn't have been more pleased with how Creature Comforts made sure he would get the proper care. They require that you meet your assigned pet sitter before your first visit which I think is very smart and helps all parties feel comfortable. My kitties felt comfortable right away with our cat sitter which put me at ease. Our cat sitter went above and beyond and even brought in our mail and refilled our Britta water filter. I had not asked her to do these things but I thought it was a very nice touch. The house was left clean and it looked like the litter had been kept up with very well. My favorite part is the daily updates we would get. Each visit (twice a day), we would get pictures and a little note from our cat sitter via the website/app saying how our cats did that visit. This allowed me to see how my cats were doing throughout the days we were gone and gave me even more confidence in the company. Our cats seemed happy and well taken care of and I am excited to continue using creature comfort's for future trips. Very professional.

I thought as a company Creature Comforts of Columbia was incredibly unprofessional and…read moreirresponsible with my animals. Some forceable motions were used while my dog was on the leash and this stems from improper training, along with no direction from the top. Along with this, if you were to work for Creature Comforts DO NOT expect quality management. Workers here are 1) disrespected 2) unequally compensated 3) and "cogs in the machine" to the owner, signifying a Theory X Pessimistic management style. Again, I would not recommend using or working for Creature Comforts of Columbia.

Every employee I spoke to was excessively rude and disrespectful towards me and the other customers whether it be over the phone or in person. Very rude. I spoke before to them about her needing to be bathed, trimmed nails, and hair on paw pads, and sanitary. They proceeded to not do any of those things besides bathe her. They must've not brushed her because after her appointment I had to brush her for 20+ minutes to get all of the shed! Her nails are only cut at the very tips..paw pad hairs are overgrown still but now splotchily cut...this place is not worth the money. Don't go here!
