My advisor , I won't call him out publicly, thought it would be great to invest in gold. $40,000 turned into $27,000 in 6 months. Gold is a very volatile investment, but he was big on it. In a single day, I lost $5800 and after calling him out on it, he couldn't figure out how I knew about that because he thought I was stupid and didn't know how to read and claimed it was over a week period until I sent him a screenshot of the loss in a single day. Crickets... I went back to Fidelity and liquidated my account at Ameriprise into cash (what was left after multiple losses) and now I sleep better at night knowing my investments will handled by a better company.Run, don't walk away from this place!!!
