Beco is a great company. I had 2 kitchen pendant lights installed. Since there was no power in the…read moreceiling they had to fish the electric cable thru the ceiling and down the wall to the other light switches. They added a switch for the pendants. They had to cut a 4" hole in the sheetrock to bend the cable down the wall, which was easily repaired. They protected the island and countertop. The kept the work site tidy. They were friendly, courteous, and very competent. I wish I could remember the electrician's name as he is a very competent and an impressive young man. The price was fair and I am very pleased with the installation. I had several competitors bid on the job, two were rude, two were greedy, and another just downright disrespectful. I was afraid of what the cost was going to be but it turned out to be just what I was quoted. My wife spoke with the office to arrange payment and she commented how professional the staff were. I am giving Beco 5 stars and a strong recommendation. If you have an electrical project just go to Beco. It will be done correctly, timely and you will be a happy camper. Bill in Mebane.

The electrician, Rick, came out on 9/20/23 and fixed one issue but then said he would have to come back the next day with his son to install the new outlets. I explained to him in very clear terms that all he has to do is communicate with me and I will be patient and understanding on anything else. Next day came and Rick didn't show or call. I finally called him at the end of the day and he said he would have to reschedule for Wednesday of the following week. Rick never showed, never called! I called/left a message on the business number to speak to the "owner/scheduler" and still have not received a return phone call to discuss my dissatisfaction with Rick. I purposely waited this long to write this review, in hopes I would get a return call. I DO NOT recommend anyone use this business! Find another electrician to use.

They were attentive and patient hearing my desires and explaining the intricacies of creating this backup power source. I had done fairly exhaustive research for this project and procured the Firman Portable generator, the prewired Connecticut Electric 10-switch Transfer Subpanel kit including the 10ft generator cable and a transfer box plus an additional adapter pigtail connection cable to the 3-prong generator outlet.. They set to work immediately, got the box and feeder cable hooked up, got the box mounted after some creative coupling and proceeded to connect the appropriate power wires to the subpanel using a template I provided. This 3-man team worked efficiently and minor mounting issues were quickly analyzed and resolved. When I finally warmed up the new Firman 3200/2900 Gen and each transfer switch was enabled, each device or receptacle responded perfectly and we were pleased to have a perfectly designed and implemented 120v powered home as anticipated. So, let the impending storms knock out our power, we're ready. Sacrificing the 240v devices was a no-brainer given the unacceptable alternative - a whole house monster sized Generator, the excessive noise and a checking acct depleted by 5x the expense of this basic power setup. Thank you "The Bobbys" - Dave and Austin from Elrod Electric Services. Good job. Nice polite guys, respectful of our property and our health. We will gladly recommend your services to anyone that asks.
