What an improbable, magical bakery oasis in San Angelo. We read the reviews online--we figured it…read morewould be good, but our snob-factor said it wouldn't be great. So happy to be dead wrong. We got here around 9:00ish on Saturday morning and there were only a few people in front of us, but by the time that we got there, he was out of the pistachio-chocolate croissants. A-L-A-S!!! We settled on the turkey-pesto-cheese, a vanilla bun, and an almond croissant. The space is tiny, so obviously there's no room to sit and we took our treats to a nearby playground. GOOD GOLLY, these are delicious baked goods. Hashtag impressed. It's better than any bakery we've been to in Austin and as good as Common Bond in Houston (original location, before they expanded and went downhill). The almond one was just *slightly* overcooked, but the filling was incredible. The vanilla bun was simple and elegant and perfect. Loved the savory one as well. We're still thinking about them all two days later...! The guy working was super friendly and not in any kind of rush and was patient with our daughter since she was out of her mind with sugary anticipation excitement. Only (minor complaint): provide napkins! Build it into the cost if you need to, but those should be included in your to-go bag. Anyway, this is a San Angelo miracle shop. Please get this guy one of those arty ewes out front!! If we're ever back again, this will be our first stop in the morning. 4.5 stars, happily rounding up.

This bakery was closed permanently when I went by a year ago…read more There was a new bakery there but it was the normal fare for San Angelo. Banana Cake, muffins etc. At the end I never found Slangin Doe open for almost 6 months.

Both rude and incompetent worse retail pharmacy visit Iv'e ever experience. First these clowns…read morewasted my time by calling me to inform me my insurance co wanted me to call them to verify my identity. My insurance after confirming with me the identity I gave Market street to be authentic and completely unaware with Market Street's request to verify me initiates a 3 way half hour phone call with Market street pharmacy to resolve this problem. Once all that's behind us these clowns still managed to butcher my prescription order. Despite that given I live next door out of convenience I decided to go there the next day to get a vaccine. Big mistake. Despite the place being practically dead they just let me sit there forever a staff member rudely telling me to sit down. I left. Drove 10 minutes down the road and had the whole thing taken care (including the round trip drive) faster then the entire time I wasted at Market Street waiting for nothing. Those people truly are both incompetent and rude

I love this store. It's always spotless, has everything I'm looking for and more..it's worth paying…read morethe higher price for quality. However, while shopping for a few items earlier today I realized i need a loaf of bread.. I headed back to the bakery area, picked up a loaf of sourdough, did more shopping, not sure what made me look, but this and almost all others were labeled made on the 5th and expired today. I returned the sourdough for the only loaf I can find which was labeled with today's day.. Again, I don't mind spending a little more for quality but i don't agree with your business practice. Maybe the shelve life expired today, but I don't feel conformable eating bread thats 5-6 days old
