In short, the ambiance is wonderful, it is a house of mirrors that make the inner two rooms look…read moreimmense. Three of us ordered salads, Pfannkuchen, and venison filets with a potato gratin. All were rated very good to excellent. I loved the venison. The wine is all locally produced for the restaurant, and we enjoyed a trocken grau burgunder and a remarkable red produced by Franz Herbster for the house. I cannot rate the service highly enough. Young waitresses were efficient and professional, and the chefin was remarkably attentive and gracious. We are looking forward to the next visit when we might enjoy the outdoor spaces, which are lovely.
