I have to say, I don't think I've *ever* had a day-one initial consult experience as thorough, positive & caring as it was with Karen today. I can't believe that she's registered as "only" a nurse - she's much more knowledgeable than 99% of the doctors I've had, listens incredibly well, and is very down-to-earth with her advice and generous with her time. I'm sticking with her as my primary doctor, hands down!! The medical profession and the world in general would be so much better off if there were more Karens out there!!!

I had an appointment on April 11 with Ryan Brison to review labs. An abnormality was detected in the urinalysis for which Ryan wrote a script for an antibiotic to be picked up at my local pharmacy in Taos. He also had me provide another sample, which I did. Not receiving any results or a call , I called and was told by the receptionist that the "manager" would review the results and have Ryan call me. No call . I called once again , and spoke to Trucco, who was quite unhelpful and in fact was "rude" himself. He denied that there was a second sample taken. His listening skills are far from a professional standard needed in a medical practice. I received a letter from him today, claiming that I was "again" rude and threaten to terminate me from the practice. There was no previous interaction. Rather then offering an apology, i was presented with denial and offered to return to Sante Fe for another sample. He never even considered suggesting that a referral could be made to Holy Cross hospital and easily obtained by your practice. I highly resent his unprofessional conduct, while also noticing no CC. to the DR. Kingston. I would recommend a disciplinary action. I wish to make it clear that this is not directed to Ryan, just Mr. Trucco's conduct

I never had a consistent PCP until I started going here and I'm grateful because it turns out I have an autoimmune disease that the doctor caught super early, avoiding life threatening complications that can develop if goes unchecked. While I won't say that the other clinics were bad, Dr. Hatch, Dr. Horner and Ms. O'Leary (massage therapist) are miracle workers in comparison. With a few sessions under my belt and several more to go, I'm already in less pain. For the first time in ages, I have some hope knowing that I am headed in the right direction. It is wonderful to be welcomed by the bright and smiling Emily, especially on days when I'm in pain. Aside from his failings at practicing medicine, he's continually running late and is very disorganized. I would stay far, far away from this guy if you have anything more complex than a common cold.

The man has no bed side manners, no personality whatsoever (very dull), the type that does not enjoy his profession and only practices for the money. I went to see him for a slightly elevated PSA of 4.5 with symptoms of prostate pressure... I explained to him that I had just cleared a UTI and he interrupted me in a condescending way, challenging me with the fact that males seldom getsu UTIs and switched to the possibility of being prostate cancer, and on top of that he started on his own, to give me explanations for prostate cancer treatments, "surgery or CHEMICAL CASTRATION", these were his exact words! I left the office very disturbed. Immediately booked my MRI with my orders to the Santa Fe Imaging to send my results to my PCP ONLY! Results came back as prostatitis, took antibiotics and PSA now back to normal! The office: when I booked my appointment, I specifically requested for the office to confirm that they excepted my Presbyterian insurance, they checked and told me yes. When I went to the appointment, they made a copy of my insurance card and drivers license, I paid my copay... Now, almost 6 months later they are sending me a bill for U$338 dollars for the office visit claiming that they did not accept my insurance. It seems that this office has this dishonest practices with insurance scheme, as they did the exact thing to my partner.
