When I first heard of eight foot grocery, I wasn't aware of such a good deli in Birmingham. However with Otto in addition in the arsenal, jewellery quarter is a must place for food lovers. The boastings of Otto was the high quality ingredients and it didn't disappoint, see the individual reviews for 4 different pizzas below: Special 1 - pumpkin, pine nuts, crispy bacon, mozzarella drizzled with honey - Not too heavy and not too light. The pizza gives a Hawaiian feel, however there are no juices, but you definitely do taste the sweet glaze. Special 2 - fresh coppa, mozzarella, topped with rocket - ham, with rocket. Even though it was a special, I think it's missing a flavour, perhaps add some olives or maybe some pesto to give it an extra bang. Main 2 - Nduja, Mozzarella and tomato - spicy chilli salami paste scattered all over the pizza. It gives the pizza a nice kick, just how I like it. Main 4 - Mushroom, seared pepper, artichoke, tomato and ricotta - a unique pizza without the mozzarella, therefore it's particularly saucy but the vegetables and ricotta make up for that. I also recommend the tomato and pesto flatbread, just can't go wrong with pesto on some bread. Warm and crispy with the flavour of the pesto complimenting the bread. Service was very good, with regular staff making sure the food was ok and no problems encountered - just how it should be! I can see this place becoming not only an evening hangout but a great lunch area too! With takeouts available, there's just no way you can miss an opportunity to try Otto. Great pizza, great price. Thankfully this pizza is worth the wait, and we were able to wait next door at The 8ft Grocer were we formulated our own starter. When our table was free we were glad we'd stuck around. Places such as Dominos offer pizzas at extortionate prices and can often take an absolute age to be made and then delivered, there is no danger of that at Pizza Land and as such I believe it is a much better establishment than many main stream pizza chains. After a night at the pub then a pizza is a great late night treat to indulge in and this place is definitely the best parlour to pay a visit to.

I reckon that for most people, once you try this, you won't want to go anywhere else for a takeaway pizza. I am told that they will have a new menu and some new sizes coming very soon and they have just started doing pizza slices for £2 a go at lunchtime. They will also deliver to offices and the like, so if you need a way to perk up a long boring meeting (is there any other kind?) or reward the team for a hard week's work, this might be a good option.

And the pizza usually takes longer than they state over the telephone so I add another 10-minutes to what they say. This means you're waiting longer but on the upside, you have the satisfaction of knowing it's because they're making it from scratch. The prices are about average but the pizza size is generally quite small. They offer sidelines like chips and garlic bread, as you would expect. But other than that, the menu is limited.

Shortly after finding a table in the late morning the crowds came in. If you plan on coming with a large group I recommend calling ahead to get reservations. They were serving the breakfast/brunch menu during our seating. I opted for the bacon pancakes. The food is presented just beautifully like the perfect instagram photo. And it tastes just as good. If you are a tea drinker you must order a pot just for the cute factor. All teapots come out dressed in little tea cozys. I wonder if they sell them as they all look homemade. My only complaint is that the food came old on the cold side. Perhaps it was due to how crowded it was, but it was like the food had been sitting out for a while. Regardless it still tasted amazing. I think prices for the Plough are affordable. If you have an Independent Birmingham card you receive a discount so keep that in mind. They have a beer garden out back that must be wonderful on sunny days..if we ever get any. I really want to get back there for lunch or dinner. And maybe try a cocktail if they have any. There truly is no other way to describe the epic nature of this conflict. Watford Road in Cotteridge has become a veritable No Man's Land. So which pizza to choose? The facts are these. Whilst Perfect Pizza has no seating, making it hard to eat your pizza there and then, it does have significantly better prices (a regular pizza at No. 1 Pizza will set you back £7.49 - a small here is just £3, and a large just £7), and the buy one get one free offer is here as well, provided that you collect your pizza (although they also offer free delivery). In terms of actual pizza quality, it's very difficult to say - there are some distinctions between the two, but I personally found it very hard to award one the best pizza prize. That being said, Perfect's much better prices are what usually sway me.
