I ordered an arrangement to be delivered to my friend for her 40th birthday that was a few days away. I requested delivery for the day before her birthday so she could enjoy them throughout. I also requested they call her prior to arrival to ensure she was home (since I wasn't sure what her plans were when I ordered them.) The day of the delivery, it was early evening and I had not heard from the recipient that she had received an arrangement, so I became concerned. I called Holliday to inquire and told deliveries were still ongoing. The lady I spoke with on the phone was very helpful and said she would call the driver to see where they were with the delivery. I explained I wasn't so much worried about the timing even though it was starting to get a little late. However, I did advise that the driver no longer needed to call my friend to confirm she was home since I had already confirmed she was there and not planning on leaving for the rest of the evening. The shop employee stated she would let the driver know. A couple of hours later, my friend thanked me for the arrangement she had just received. She said she missed the initial delivery attempt because the driver called while she was trying to put her small child down to sleep. Fortunately, she was able to call the driver back to let them know she was home, then they delivered the arrangement. A bit frustrating considering I had updated them but they called anyway. I only saw one small picture of the arrangement, but it looked OK from what I could tell. She seemed to like it so it was mostly a win at the end of it all.

The owner was kind, friendly, and helpful. She sent me a text picture of the flower basket and it was delivered the morning of the funeral. Two days later when a family member said she didn't see the flower basket at the service, the business owner called the church, gathered information, and was only kind and respectful toward me. The flowers were, indeed delivered and had been apparently picked up by another family member. I was disappointed my SIL didn't receive the flowers and much to my surprise Tiffany took on her own accord to order flowers for my SIL. I wanted a festive holiday centerpiece to take to my mother this week. Every year I usually go…read moreon-line and pick out a table centerpiece from FTD, 1-800 Flowers, Teleflora, etc. And, every year Mom gets a beautiful centerpiece from local florists like Mary's Flowers, Bartlett Florist, Premier, A Perfect Bloom, etc. I understand they may not have the exact lowers, accents, vases etc,. but, Mom always received a similar centerpiece that is as beautiful as the one I ordered. This week I picked out a beautiful tree shaped centerpiece from Teleflora and sent one to my work so I can take this to Mom(She can not hear the door, and I did not want it left in the elements outside). You can see my receipt with a photo of what I ordered, and the photo of the centerpiece Pugh's sent me. This is what a $100 comparable arrangement looks like from Pugh's. I tried to call when this arrived and could not get through to someone until the next day. The person who I spoke with identified the arrangement I ordered as the Luxe Winter Tree and told me they did not have a square gold vase and the arrangement they sent is comparable in quality and value to the arrangement with the 6 roses, 3 mums and 3 snapdragons. There is a switch on the wood box that does not work. I texted this picture to the lady I was talking to at Pugh's. She asked why did I put a ruler next to it. I asked her to send someone to get this, it is embarrassing. I will not say her name but she said she would reach out to Tim Pugh. She called back and left a VM saying Tim Pugh said I would need to call Teleflora. Tim Pugh said Teleflora gave Pugh's the option to substitute the arrangement with a "similar (arrangement) so we did it the best way with the products that we have so it would be something that you... have to call them directly. " If I sent this to another family member who did not think I would see this, they would be too polite to say anything. It is obvious Pugh's was counting on that. How can you say this is similar? It is not Teleflora's fault I received this arrangement. If Pugh's could not (or would not) recreate or substitute any 3rd party floral arrangement purchase, they should have declined the order. This is so unprofessional. I can go to Kroger and do better under $20 for what Pugh's delivered.

They don't care about actually putting together the "bouquets" and just throw them together. I just got a $100 "bouquet" delivered that looks terrible. I just once again asked my husband to please stop using Pughs. Which upset me to have to bring up to him again because he tried so hard, however year after year, Pughs lets us down. UPDATE : the owner ended up contacting me through messages stating they wanted to make it right and make a replacement bouquet. Stated I needed to call them. I told them I won't be calling them but they can replace the bouquet if they'd like and I'd be able to supply all the info they needed through the messages and they read the message and ignored me afterwards hahahaha. What a business. Don't waste peoples time if you're just going to ignore them afterwards. Sad.
