I wanted to sit and relax while I ate, but when I found this place on Yelp I decided to give it a try. I still wasn't prepared for how small it is. But don't let that run you away! The man working was incredibly friendly, helpful, and sweet. Made small talk and asked how I found them. I got the Ref black bean burger. I've been a vegetarian my entire life, so I feel like I know my way around a black bean burger. This was, hands down, one of the best I've ever had. Wholeheartedly recommend.

That's rare these days, but man it's super nice when you come across it! The food: It was super fresh! I watched him slice the tomato and onion right before he put it on my Gyro. Somehow he is able to provide A super delicious product without compromising the customers time. He was extremely efficient and the wait time was practically nonexistent. Right after I arrived a line formed behind me so I got in before the rush. That was around 11:45 AM. I'm not from here- but when I return later this summer I will definitely make sure to visit him! And looking at the stupid app there's no way to cancel my order! I would not have made the order if I would have known when I checked-out on the app it was going to say a 30 minute wait, but in hindsight 30 minutes would have been great! My particular Five Guys is always been off, but the "buy one get one" for Cheeseburger Day is/was absolutely not worth it! Lots of people have walked in to order, but the staff shut the register down and were not taking orders before we even walked in at 7pm! So people left mad... The cook making the burgers just chew out a customer that had been waiting an hour he said. The guy walked up to the counter and asked the cook how much longer, and got chewed out by the cook, and I'm not even joking, Video attached. Update: Ordered at 7:05pm, didn't get our food until 8:25pm. Then the burger wasn't even good, meat not seared, and the bun was rock hard from sitting on the grill for over an hour that I saw...and missing 2 toppings! The restaurant has around a dozen small tables, but it's always clean. I love seeing some of its history in pictures and logos on the walls. M and I tried Jersey Mike's for the first time ever in Onalaska, WI new location. When we first got…read morethere, we noticed that it was FREEZING inside of the restaurant! The temperature inside was about that same as it was outside. When noticed that the prices seemed pretty steep on the menu, but in reality I guess it is reasonable when you can get a giant sandwich for about 15 bucks and is 16 inches or a regular for about 8-9 bucks depending on what kind of sandwich you get. I ordered the Super Italian and my partner got the Chicken Bacon Ranch. The girl that asked me what I wanted on the sandwich must have been new, because she repeatedly kept asking me what I wanted, even after we sat down at the table. My advice would be to right down the toppings if you don't feel you will remember what I said. I will slow down the order time if you have to keep asking. Not being mean, but just trying to be helpful. She still didn't get my order right, and my sandwich was pretty messy, but had a good flavor. I did not want to Red Wine Vinegar on it, but she put it on there anyways, and I'm sure it was because she didn't remember. It was hard for us to enjoy our sandwiches because it was so cold in the restaurant. The outside temp was about 36 degrees, and the inside temp was about the same it seemed. Also, I noticed the blower to the air system was still on. If your heat isn't working, why are you blowing constant cold air through the vents? I know it wasn't anything they could help as far as heat was concerned, but don't keep the blowers going. Other than the messed up order on the sandwich and the cold air, we will still try this place again.
