Everything is built with accessibility in mind ramps, wide pathways, sensory features, musical instruments, and even mini pretend storefronts that spark imaginative play. The rubberized ground covering is such a bonus for safety too soft, clean, and comfortable for little ones learning to navigate the world. There's also a splash pad right next door, which is an absolute magnet on hot Texas afternoons. Shaded picnic tables and benches are scattered throughout the park, making it easy for parents and caregivers to relax without feeling like you have to hover the entire time. What makes Hope Park extra special is the heart behind it. There is a fountain in the middle of a pond that is quite relaxing to listen to. The area is a nice and safe area so you don't have to worry about this either. It's located behind the shops at Legacy and the Marriott. It seems like a nice place to come to after you shop or eat at the shops. The ambience is relaxing and there is plenty of parking in the area, too. I love how clean it is and the water doesn't smell or anything. This place is well kept and you can tell. The whole thing is fenced except the entrance but that's where most parents sat while their kids played. The bathrooms are large and clean. There's two restrooms both are family bathrooms. The only downside of the park is that the slides are fast and tossed my 22 month old around and the ropes on the netting is spaced fairly wide so his little feet slipped through but there is an additional net outside the so things can't fall through and those helped him get along. We will come back for sure!

This is a great area for running, hiking and/or biking also. The garden connects to nearby trails and parks as well. Or just come by to admire/take some pics and download an app to hear audio on the history behind each sculpture! The fountains are beautiful as well and there was lots of greenery, flowers, beautiful landscape. Tons of coffee shops/beverage spots nearby to grab a sip or bite to eat too before moseying around. Since I came here for a workout did not venture inside but plan on checking out the indoor sculptures as well! Come enjoy some culture and expand your mind. You will be so glad that you did.

Passing this park on an out-of-the-way side street for the last two years, I noticed a "workout area" towards the entrance to the park. I made a mental note to stop and check it out but, never did until today. I usually work out daily at the recreation center but, recently due to Omnicron, I've been looking for an interesting outside place to get some exercise. I remembered passing this place and decided to check it out. On pulling up I was initially disappointed. I guess I thought the structure should be bigger, more interesting, more challenging! then I started using it. Bam!!! Hello! I thought I was in decent shape for my age but, boy was I wrong. I couldn't even make it through a few exercises on this "adult playground"!!!! It just shows you can't judge a book by its cover or make assumptions. You have to Do It. this great little outdoor gym known as the Miracle is just that. In a fairly small area, several exercises are demonstrated via placard if you need them. It will wear you out, challenge you in ways you didn't anticipate. I'm so glad I found this outdoor place to exercise in the fresh air at this time. I feel I'm getting a type of physical challenge that I didn't inside a gym. Definite Go!

Andy Brown is a beautiful space, from the pond to the open fields, the sidewalk/bike path, multiple large pavilions, and fun playground. There are large, mature trees surrounding the park. We parked in the wrong lot and had to walk alongside the gym in order to get to the playground and I couldn't believe how beautiful the pathways were with all the trees and the small creek running alongside. Not what I expected from a city park! The playground itself ("Kid Country") is almost fully enclosed and is a sprawling assortment of things to climb up, swing on, and slide down. There is a play area in the toddler section with storefronts to spark pretend play. The ground is bark. There are large trees in the center of the play area that provide shade and make the play structure look more natural than your typical playground. Almost like a tree house. There are benches scattered throughout the play area and a large covered pavilion with multiple picnic tables underneath. The city of Coppell provides free WiFi there and there were multiple moms with laptops out, working, while their kids played. The only big negative is the distance from the playground to the bathroom. I understand that they probably built the bathrooms more toward the center of the park, but the wise choice would have been to also put an additional small restroom right next to the playground. It's too far of a walk for me to feel comfortable sending my younger kids over there alone and it's kind of a bummer to have to wrangle together the entire group every time one kid has to pee. Otherwise, a fabulous park. LOVE IT. Hats off to you, Coppell!

There are benches at regular intervals if you want to give your feet a rest. We saw many squirrels while on the trail and many tortoises in the creek. It's a nice place to enjoy nature and rejuvenate. There is very limited parking and I don't remember seeing any restrooms in the park. It's a dog friendly park. Dogs need to be on leash and please clean up after your pups.
