I am very disappointed with the management of Dry Pond Pet Resort. I paid $125 for ONE night…read moreboarding for my 70lb. lab dog in a 4x5 room, a $65 room. They have implemented new charges for early drop off $20 (before 1pm) and late pick up $40 (after 11am)./ know for me when I'm going out of town for a weekend I want to leave before 1pm and it would be hard to get back on a Sunday by 11am to avoid the additional fees. I have been using Dry Pond for 5 years (since I got my dog). I even switched to their vet services. My loyalty to their business doesn't seem to matter to management. After talking to the staff they suggested I email Shannon Pierce, the owner. I did email her and now 5 days later I still have NOT gotten a response. Dry Pond is also implementing additional fees/charges called Peak Pricing $20 per DAY for: Spring Break & summer (Memorial Day thru Labor Day), Thanksgiving week & Christmas thru New Years. None of this is mentioned up front on their website. Clearly they don't appreciate my business.

Please read!!! Me and my husband were looking for a pet/house sitter for our animals for our 5 day…read morevacation and had previously rehomed 2 kittens to Laura so I felt like I could trust her.... This is not the case!! She apparently could not handle the animals ( granted we have 9 little dogs and quite a few cats) so she just let them destroy my house. About 1 week before our vacation we had 2 litters of feral kittens dumped off at our house by unknown people with upper respiratory infection so I put them on an antibiotic.. for whatever reason she decided to stop their regimen so they got worse quickly. She then messaged me the night before we are coming home and said one of my cat's was throwing up blood.. The next morning she found him dead so she thought it would be a good idea to half a** wrap him in a towel with his bloody head and tail out and put him in the freezer on top of all of our food (which now had to be thrown out). This is just the worst incident...I would post pictures and videos but they are so nasty that I'm afraid a child night see them and be scared. . The decisions that she makes are not the decisions that an experienced, responsible pet owner would make! I even offered to have someone else come and help her if she was overwhelmed and she said she could handle it that she didn't feel comfortable with.. Apparently not!! I'm so upset that my baby passed any that all my other animals were neglected. If you own a business and you can't handle the work load then you hire more help not just half ass do the work. Yes we have a lot of animals but I left plenty of food, medicine, litter, blankets, treats etc etc to make it easier on her....I also paid her half up front because I trusted her so much! Also, I should mention that one of the kittens I rehomed to her is now dead also bc her pit bull ate the poor kitten.4
