Beaverbrooks Jewellers, everyone has heard of them, everyone knows what they sell, jewellery; mainly gold jewellery, and lately, a series of designer watches. They do it well, and they have a good quality of diamonds, and their gold isn't that hideous butter yellow colour that you can often assimilate with the likes of H Samuel.
Where Beaverbrooks deserve a mention; their unwavering patience. I swear I went in with my cousin who had the misfortune of purchasing three items from Beaverbrooks that had unfortunately conked out, an Armani watch, a gold bracelet and a necklace. The staff went through everything with precision, and were not quick to lay the blame on misuse or any of that other crap that usually comes with a fault in the product.
The watch was sent packing back to Armani and a new one was brought out for her, the clasp on the necklace was sent back for a free replacement and enhancement, and as the bracelet was no longer suitable the poor staff were sent round the bend bringing out new bracelets and whatnot to replace the gift.
My argument started to question the quality of the products, maybe she should just get a full refund and head to another jewellers if this was going to be a recurrent theme with their products. One of the women did start to look panicked at this, and the chap I assumed was the manager, assured us that this was a glitch and wouldn't happen again, but should there be any problems, she had his word that a full refund could be taken if there was any dissatisfaction. I suppose that was a very fair response, and he delivered it well too.
Thus far everything's holding up well. Touch wood. read more
