Garfield Memorial Hospital had good reviews so I went there. I live in a big city, I wasn't sure what to expect. What I found was the best emergency room of all time. Dr. Mooney and everyone I came in contact with took amazing care of me. Everyone was kind, thoughtful, and efficient. They made it possible for me to continue to take my mom on her dream vacation. The waiting room is so clean and they even have security in the lobby which makes me feel good. The ER rooms are clean, and I like that you can't hear anything else once inside. So I take my little girl to the ER last night cause she scraped her eye with paint she was scraping…read moreoff paint in old house she cut her eye and the ER doctor gave her medicine for ears and I put the drops in her eye even tho I called and said this is for the ear they insured me it was ok so I put two drops in her eye and it burned her eye so I called the ER and the insured me it was ok well today I called the pharmacy and they said they were wrong I took her to Dr Parker a great eye doctor a real eye doctor and they burn her eye, Evan Christiansen the Hospital administrator gave my child three movie tickets and said they made a mistake and he was sorry. Not good enough. Bad bad bad I could do a better job.

I Have called them three times and they say they didn't bill it wrong. Yet the Doctor and the Anesthesiologist billed them and got paid. they also switched to a new billing program at the time of my surgery. Medicare can't help me. They have to go by what the Hospital bills them for.

I was able to get an appointment in short order. The office staff was extremely professional and caring. When I saw the physician, he was very professional and he actually spent several minutes going over my medical issue. It was nice talking with a physician who actually cares. My medication was sent to the local pharmacy and I was home resting before I knew it. I'm glad Intermountain Health Care is here in our backyard and I will certainly be using their facility for any future needs (hoping, of course, those times are few and far between).

We moved to Utah 4 1/2 years ago, as senior citizens. We are now leaving, due to the negligence in the Healthcare system. Unbelievable! We had Dr Moon, Hurricane Utah's assistant administer the wrong shot to my husband. No one in that facility bothered to check him to see if he was OK. As we continue that story keeps changing per the Doctor. You gave the wrong SHOT! You can't debate that! Dr Ronald Chamberlain, St George Utah, falls asleep while you are talking. He now works at Dixie State University, as a Director of Sporting of some sort. Is that a good idea? To be around college students? In the same office, Dr Cindy Duke, a supposed Neuropsychologist, cold, harsh and Bipolar! This woman's only job is to perform tests & games for the ability to see brain performance. She should remain neutral & calm. Holy Cow! This woman boasts about herself, is a narcissist and is mentally challenged herself. While I was talking, she stands up from a small table and slams her hands down, making a booming sound. Scary broad! She needs some help... Bye Utah! Hire some real Doctor's!
