The food is great -- fresh, flavourful, and clearly made with care. It's the kind of place you want to like. That said, for the price, the portions feel underwhelming. The smashburger, while tasty, is about the size of a standard McDonald's cheeseburger, and a handful of fries just doesn't cut it at this price point. A bit more generosity on the plate would go a long way in matching the quality of the experience with the value. Still worth a visit -- just don't come too hungry.

I only recall trying poutine when I was younger so I figured I'd give it another try. They have Poutine as a whole order, but I was glad to see that they have it as a side option. The food entries comes with a side of your choice (fries, house salad, sweet potato fries (+$2.99) , caesar salad (+$3.50), or poutine (+$3.50)). The portions of the food were huge, so you definitely get your bang for your buck here. Each dish was neatly placed and was so good! The bread from the club was crunchy yet soft and the chicken was moist. The ingredient felt very fresh! The poutine was a tad salty, but I think that is how poutine is? Since it's gravy and cheese (two salty ingredients). It was just the perfect amount to share with the family since we all just wanted a little bit to refresh our taste buds. My family also ordered the Chipotle Chicken Caesar Wrap with the house salad ($19.99); Fish and Chips ($19.99), and Grilled Chicken Club with the house salad ($19.99). The chipotle chicken caesar wrap was HUGE. My mom said it was very good and that it wasn't too overpowered with all the flavors and sauces. I was able to try a bite of her house salad and was also impressed by the fresh ingredients of the salad. You can tell it is a good salad when the salt actually crunches and does not just wilt there. The Fish and Chips were pretty good according to my brother in law. Crispy, not totally too greasy and a large piece on top. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal here in this small town. It had a cosy interior with very nice staff. FYI, the menu is located solely online! Reception could be a little spotty, so they have wifi for you in case you need it! This clean, super-friendly establishment did just that! The wonton soup was definitely the best I have ever had; five dumplings easily recognizable as homemade, packed with tasty pork morsels, swimming in a gorgeous clear broth, seasoned perfectly with green onions. When the soup was brought to the table, the aroma instantly confirmed something special was about to be experienced. DON'T leave this restaurant without ordering this item!!!! The spring rolls, egg rolls (homemade) kept reinforcing how wonderful the food is here. We ordered the Singapore Noodles which was generous in its portion size, full of flavour, shrimp, chicken and pork and just the right amount of spicy heat. Others dishes being delivered to tables surrounding us gave further evidence that the kitchen can't help but produce deliciousness in abundance. Fresh, fragrant and tantalizing! Even the Chinese tea was noteworthy! Sadly we are in town for one night. Future detours will be made along our travel route to enable us to sit down to another meal. Thank you, Boston Chinese Restaurant, for an unforgettable dining experience in Gananoque!

Bulloch house is a historical house that the owners were originally planning on turning into an antiques store. When the pandemic hit, they turned it into a B&B instead, the B&B is thus decorated with many antiques that are also available for purchase. We stayed in the Petit Kroeger Room, which is described as a nursery room originally, and therefore slightly small. The room was nonetheless charming and quaint. Michele was super nice and had prepared a little Kitchenette where free snacks and beverages were available. The breakfast was multi-course and served in their Victorian dining room. Overall, Bulloch house is a great place to go to get away from the big city, relax, and experience what it is to live in a Victorian home.
