I wanted to submit my review for @BellasBeautySuite located in Newark, NJ…read moreI must say Bella is BOMB! I literally wrote her at like 8AM for a VERY LAST MINUTE SAME DAY appointment and she responded, was professional and OVERSTOOD the assignment! I liked that I was able to text her my inspiration of what I wanted and she told me exactly what to book, so there were no surprises in pricing. I also really liked that I was able to pay for my appointment in full on the site. When I walked in I felt comfortable and the place was clean! Her playlist was lit too, I was trying to stay still but it was so good I wanted to keep singing. At the last minute I asked her if she had space for my mom to get her makeup done and she took my mom right on the spot with no last minute fees. I got dressed in the shop and took my hair down while there and Bella even helped me. I was running late so I was rushing getting dressed and my zipper on my pants popped and she literally came to the rescue, trying to help fit it and perfect my outfit. I was so antsy, she was like maybe wear a longer shirt, thankfully I had a few shirts with me and I had one, but it wasn't the look I was going for. I forgot to mention that Bella's shop not only is a place where you can get your make up done, but you can even get an outfit and accessories for affordable prices. So back to my outfit, Bella pulls out a waist belt and SAVES the day! Bella took pics and videos of me and really took her time with me, not one minute felt rushed. At the end of the appointment she gave us both a small bag with a beauty blender and a nice lipgloss also. Here we are a week later and I'm so happy to say my face did not break out. Most times when I get my make up done my skin breaks out (I guess since I barely do it), but with Bella it did not. I noticed all her brushes were clean when she beat my face and she also used quality foundation and other products. She was also a good person to take to, I loved her motivation and determination. It was nice to see a young person with their own store front and super professional!

I called her the day before the prom and she was able to squeeze my daughter in for an appointment. She was kind, courteous, and professional. My daughter's makeup looked nothing AMAZING. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would! This has been the worst experience I've ever had…read more Yesterday I went to get an underarm wax, and the person who did it was not professional at all she didn't even know what she was doing. She burned my underarms, and now I have to use an antibiotic to relieve the pain and burning. This had never happened to me before. When I tried to tell her that something was wrong and bothering me, her response was, "It'll go away in 5 minutes." I could clearly see my skin was getting irritated. She didn't even use baby powder, which is usually applied before waxing, and I believe the wax temperature was way too hot, which caused the burns. Terrible service, I will never go back. I'm writing this review so that people can be careful about where they go to get a wax.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and Lucy made sure to explain the process thoroughly. My mother got hers done first and she was so comfortable and satisfied with her results. Then I did mine. During my first appointment Lucy helped me choose the best technique for my brows and carefully mapped out a design that perfectly suited my face. During the procedure, she was gentle, and and though I'm a scaredy-cat and have low pain tolerance, the discomfort was minimal. The results were stunning--my brows looked natural, full, and beautifully shaped. My touch-up appointment has already been completed, and the final results are even better than I imagined. I've received so many compliments on my brows, and I feel more confident than ever. I highly recommend Lucy to anyone looking for flawless, natural-looking brows. Truly a five-star experience!

Her painting is awful, cleaning cuticles, awful. The salon itself awful, she didn't know how to shap acrylic, I mean just top to bottom a disaster. It felt like a prank. All I will say is this, I can GUARANTEE if you go here you will be disappointed. It's ONE lady who I believe is the owner who is doing the nails so all of the REAL reviews here are talking about her and all will tell you she is terrible and needs to close up shop immediately. She has the nerve to nickel and dime you for everything but is TERRIBLE at everything. Please save yourself the time, money and disappointment. Do NOT go here.

Wendy is extremely thorough and you get a great deal for the cost. I decided to keep going after my Groupon ran out because she's so sweet and the price is still incredibly low considering the cleanliness of the spa. Trust me: Daphne's wax will not give you any rash or irritations (I always get them whenever I get eyebrows done somewhere else). She's also meticulous that she ensures you skin is smooth as it can be after waxing. What I appreciate about Daphne is she knows how to lessen the pain for those with low pain tolerance. I look forward to all my sessions with her and would recommend Daphne to anyone I know. (If you can afford it, enjoy the lymphatic massage as well. Since moving here, circulation to my legs and shoulders have been awful, and my calves and shoulders tend to swell easily. The lymphatic massage corrected much of it.) Thank you, Daphne, for your flexibility and professionalism!

We called a day ahead asking whether we need to make an appointment for henna. The lady on the phone said no, just come in. So we went in the next day, there was only one woman there. We asked her for designs from their google and Yelp photos. She said that's too complicated. She called someone, not sure what was said and then says she can only do something simple. We would've left but my niece was so excited about her first henna. We showed her a very simple design of flowers (please see the photos of my niece's hands, she could've done that herself and she's six). She then "gave us a discount" by only charging us $30 for both hands. I didn't want to make a scene because I didn't want to make my niece cry, so we paid it. Never again. Beware of this scam. Edited: While I appreciate your offer we are going to decline. And with all due respect, that design had nothing to do with a 6 year old moving. I suggest moving forward you indicate on your website that you are by appointment only, and perhaps let your coworkers know that as well so they can answer questions appropriately and not wait people's time. Be sure to include the days of the week too, since we came today which is actually a Monday and not Sunday. Finally, please tell that lady to just say no to henna requests, no one else needs to suffer.

My husband made reservations for us--which he thought was a couples massage (1 prenatal and 1…read morewellness massage) via the website. They call the day before to confirm your appts which I thought was very nice. When we first got there for our original appt it seemed as though it was separate rooms at different time slots. There was def miscommunication between the bookings, confirming appts, and the website. Basically if you're booking a couples massage don't use the site. It's more for single bookings in my opinion. However Bianca, was so nice--she was able to accommodate us for another date (which we were fine with) at no charge. She calmed me down a lot being that I'm 9 months pregnant. Super sweet and just went beyond. So upon arriving for our actual appts--Bianca greeted us right away. Took our coats and we were led upstairs within 5 mins. They offered tea or water. They provided us robes/slippers and our own little cubby with a lock and key. We waited maybe 5 more mins after we got dressed --then we got taken upstairs. Very calming inside for sure. Andrew was superb! The best. Abs book with him. He was great. For a prenatal massage I felt amazing afterwards. He informed me that there will be times he's going to ask about guidance specifically the hips since that's where I'm bothered the most being that pregnant people can really only sleep on their sides. Just an amazing massage! Get the lavender scent--it's soooo good. My husband had Holly and she was super nice. He said he loved his first massage ever. She was great. She asked him any pain/problem areas. Glad to say my husband is into spas now lol. The massages and staff definitely made up for the miscommunication that happened in the beginning and happy that we didn't end up cancelling it. Def worth it. Price was under $300. Plus Bianca gifted me a complimentary body scrub which was so nice of her. She's really great. Holly, Andrew and Bianca were amazing! One star off for the website (maybe it needs to be more specific about certain services-- at least for users who's never been to a spa). Def worth a visit. I'll be coming back post natal for another massage.
