Amma (?) was wonderful! She didn't try to up charge or sell us anything. I got a citrus pedicure with regular polish, French dip manicure, and my mom got the citrus pedicure with gel polish. The total ended up coming to $150 together before tip and we felt that was fair and that our nails looked great! They offer 1 free alcoholic drink (or soda, water, etc) while getting your nails done, and they have massage pedicure chairs. We made an appointment in the middle of the day on Tuesday (right after new year's holiday) and it was very very busy. Happy to see local businesses thriving, but a word of caution if you are looking to get in quick, you may need to be flexible or get lucky with a less busy time.

I showed my technician a picture of what I wanted, and she did a great job of creating the look I was hoping for. The one thing that caught me off guard was the price. With the tip, my total came out to be almost $100, which was a bit more than I was expecting. I believe the technician mentioned they charge extra for each color used in the design, so that's something to keep in mind if you're getting nail art. I should've asked beforehand. It also took about 2 1/2 hours which I also wasn't expecting. The salon was also very busy and crowded. I was seated shoulder to shoulder with my friend and another customer I didn't know, and it got pretty hot inside. While the quality of the work was good, the crowded and hot atmosphere made it a bit less relaxing than I would have liked.

That last visit was close to a year ago. I was heading to Austin for a girls weekend and we all wanted pedis but all 3 of my friends said not to go here cause it was just not good but I decided against them since my last experience here was pleasant. Well, that was a mistake! I brought my daughter, and she got a manicure and was almost shamed because she didn't want gel done. For my pedicure they have any of the whites I wanted ( take them out of the book then), my tech didn't talk to me at all and instead stared at the muted TV, no drink was offered even though it was 100 degrees outside, he didn't cute down my toes and after spending over$100 with tips for my gel pedi and my daughters regular paint, her nails were already smudged before we left the parking lot, mine were unevenly painted and the Pic I posted was 2 weeks after I got them done. The place was clean and quiet. I didn't realize the chairs massaged at first, they were a little older. I also wasn't offered a water or any beverage, but I had a good experience and like my toesies. The price was about typical price like other salons. I got the $37 pedi, so not the cheapest but the one right under that plus $20 extra for gel. I would come back and recommend trying them out too!
