I thought it was necessary to post my original review, back in 2014, on her new and improved business on Yelp. It is pasted at the end of this review. Hair boutique's space is quite gorgeous. It's airy and glamorous. It is never too loud or too crowded but always friendly stylists there to greet you. Justina is a pro. Not only is she genuinely a great person, always up on your life and great conversation, she's incredibly talented hair stylist. I followed her to this location by no mistake. It was very important to keep her as her work is unmatched. I've also had my hair cut by Joanna, who also works here. This was when I was crunched for time and Justina had no availability. I did not leave disappointed! The talent is endless at this salon. It's really a lovely experience and I refuse to go anywhere else. You don't get the catty nature of other salons, it's really so very pleasant. I've had, caramel, blonde, and even silver/titanium hair done beautifully by Justina. I've had hair cuts and highlights... (posted some pictures of all her work). If you're looking for a new salon, this is it. She's the best in the game. Older review at her old location from 2014: I found my new salon! I went in and they knew exactly what they were doing without knowing the entire history of my hair. The woman cutting my hair explained the way my cowlicks were and to what extent I should cut my bangs for quick easy ready styling. She listened to exactly what it was I was looking for and then applied her knowledge in a conversation to reach a conclusion that would best suit me PRIOR to starting the cut. They show you before each cut to make sure the length they are taking off is correct and they will not get "scissor happy". Anytime they are going to take more off than you anticipate, it will not be done with out communicating to you prior. I have been going to a top notch salon my entire life and moved 45 minutes away from it. I needed a good cut and quick. I read the other reviews and figured I would give this place a go... Sorry $100 hair cuts... you've been officially replaced! I have been recommending this place to everyone that has complimented my beautiful layers and just in regular conversation. TRY THIS SALON! You will NOT be disappointed!

Let me start off with the fact that everyone was nice and place was small but cute. I wanted an…read moreall over color and was told no and that just roots can be done because i have dark hair and it cant be lightened at all, although I've had it lighter before...to not be difficult I said ok to just the roots because I'll just go elsewhere for what I wanted to achieve. Once I saw that they said no to an all over color I opted out of getting cut as I originally wanted. i feel I could have just done my roots at home and saved myself the money. I said I didn't want black and they didnt try at all to go lighter I feel my hair is still dark if not darker. on top of that I was left with dye all over my forehead lol. I really just wanted to leave at that point so I also opted out of the blow dry. So disappointed, had been 6 months since I did my hair and was looking forward to it. I am sure they do great work, but not sure working with dark hair is their strong point.

Ayet cuts my hair like I've been trying to get cut for a few years and no one would get right. Also…read moreshe is quick and efficient. My hair always looks great when done and doesn't need me to go home and touch it up like other salons usually do. I pay $48 plus tip which is a little higher than I'd normally like to pay for a haircut (I'm cheap LOL), but to be honest it's totally worth it - and I can go a little longer between cuts as long as I trim my bangs b/c the layers grow in nicely and it's still easy to style..... to me that's the sign of a great cut. Highlights for my shoulder length hair run $120 with a cut and dry. My highlights normally last like 4 months.... I've only used Ayet so I can only vouch for her, but the rest of the salon is clean and the people are really nice. Also they don't push products on your like other salons (especially ones that are pricier than here!). Go to Ayet, he's the best! :) FYI - I think that's the back of my head in the photo in the corner, the stacked bob.... you can see how great she cuts!!!

Sometimes you take for granted how much value there is in a reliable hair salon. This is why I felt compelled to write this review. I have so much gratitude towards Amy and Salon Nouveau for my wedding day preparations. Amy totally achieved and maintained the perfect blonde as well as styled my hair on my wedding day. She exceeded my wedding style expectations! I can't even believe my hair was capable of looking so beautiful. The loose updo lasted over 12 hours of wedding day festivities. I'll let my wedding day photos I've attached do the talking. Fair prices, friendly staff, and beautiful RELIABLE results. What more could you want in a hair salon? They also sell Aveda hair products which are my absolute FAVORITE (the scent of these products alone are enough to keep you coming for more).
