PROS: The location of the store is convenient and they do have a good selection of items. CONS: Some of the products are grossly overpriced and can be found much cheaper in Targey or Wally World. My main issue with the store is the customer service or lack there of. They are very rude and I say this mostly about the lady at the front that only speaks clearly when it's to tell you your total and the older gentleman in the back who pretends he's on the phone his whole shift..... The rudeness on 4/5/2021 was so off the chain, I won't be going back. I would rather spend my money where it is appreciated and not expected because you think I won't go anywhere else. Walked in the store and greeted the staff, they said nothing. My sister walked by them and a staff member in a wheel chair greeted her the other person only said "you have 5 minutes". That was fine because customer service in these places aren't always the best. But when the male staff member deliberately hovered over me and stood next to me while I was looking for hair, I became highly uncomfortable. I picked up a pack up hair and put it down he instantly dove for the hair to put it in the correct space. 1. He was way too close. 2. If I put it in the wrong place he could have fixed it after I left. 3. I felt like I was profiled and I wasn't even in the store for a full 2 minutes. I am not from this area but that was a trash experience and I hope no one else has to deal with this kind of treatment, especially if they plan to spend their money here. read more

I'm visiting from out of town and wanted to pick up some beauty supply items. They have a decent selection but like most beauty supply places they have just the basics of what our nationality needs. The typical brands they see trending and they're slightly overpriced if you do the research of what an item should typically cost. I placed my items on the counter and let her know I was about ready. She noticed I was still shopping. I asked for something behind the counter and once receiving it, she started ringing me up. I overlooked I had an item I no longer wanted so upon reading my receipt I asked her for a refund. I was still standing at the counter. She Stated no cash back. I asked could she refund the amount back on my card. She took a moment as if to think about it then said no sorry. To me, She could have easily put it back on my card. Ive never known a business that couldn't or wouldn't do that to retain a customer. It just so happen to also be the most expensive item I was purchasing. If you're a business that has to slightly over charge your items because indirectly supply & demand permits you to, but yet you cant do a simple charge back onto a person's debit or credit card, then perhaps you need to learn the basics of business before proceeding. The mighty dollar makes some lose their customer service etiquette. How sad! Even though the business isnt obligated to do the chargeback, obligation also shouldn't be your only reason for doing things. read more

This beauty supply shop is the best you have if you reside in Harford County Maryland - the prices are slightly higher than Baltimore City but the selection is comparable so they make up for the prices. Theres a large selection of hair and hair accessories - from textured to straight hair - an array of hair products as well from bleach - temporary dyes to perms - hair gels and styling sprays - they do have wigs as well and recently employed a couple of ladies who can actually tell you more about the products because they use them as well read more

I found 2 packs of hair that I needed and they were marked with a green tag (placed by the store) as 12.99. When I got to the register it rung up as 19.99. The associate tells me that the register is the right price not the sticker on the package and takes the sticker off of the package. Do not go here !! Just go to another beauty supply there is one in Aberdeen that I prefer to go to anyways. Won't get my business again read more

Huge selection but and very friendly staff! However, they're priced higher than other stores in the area on a lot of items (a few products you can catch next door for $3 cheaper), but I that's just business. The management is sub par at best....not at all concerned with the customer experience if products purchased don't function as expected. I'm not a fan of an in store policy that vastly differs from the info on the receipt. But it happens....just not my style....and uncaring management is a whole message to spend your $$ elsewhere. I just moved to Edgewood about two months ago. I shop at this hair store at least six times within that two month timeframe. I really love this hair store better than others in this area simply because customer service it's at 100%. One day I came to this beauty supply store and was about $.46 short. I was so grateful that the cashier let me go out of the store without paying my remaining balance. Simply because I shop at this hair store a great number of times and I plan to continue. I feel that that was so generous of her because she didn't have to do that. Now I know that next time I shop at this store I'll have a negative balance of $.46 and that she'll remember the next time I come I can leave a credit without worrying about the next time I come back that credit will be put towards my order. God bless her heart and I'll continue following this beauty supply for as long as I'm in this area. Even if I do decide to move into another city I'll take the drive it's well worth it.
