I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at the New Hyde Park location. I booked an eyebrow…read morewax through the EWC app specifically because it showed me the "First Wax Free" option and allowed me to select it. My EWC account already contains my previous visit history, so if I wasn't eligible, the app should not have offered me the promotion in the first place. I was not told I was ineligible until AFTER my eyebrow wax had already been completed. At that point, I was told I had to pay $27 for a service I booked believing would be free. During the appointment, I was also asked if I ever get my upper lip waxed, which felt like an unnecessary attempt to upsell me on another service. I contacted EWC Corporate Guest Relations, who referred me back to this location because it is independently franchised. I would appreciate a manager or owner from the New Hyde Park location reaching out to me directly to resolve the charge. I would much rather have this addressed and resolved than leave the experience as it currently stands

Thank you Patricia's Brazilian Waxing. - Pricing is super fair. - Atmosphere super clean. - No double dipping wax. - Pop music in the background. - Front desk super friendly. - Good location.

Purpose i assume is so they can contact you in case someone who worked or visited the salon had covid. Also, made me sign a form claiming i was not sick or traveled within past 2 weeks. Then told to use hand sanitizer. Then i was allowed to sit for service. All staff had mask on during all service including threading by having thread clipped to their shirt or around their necks instead of holding it in their mouth like they used to. Then i witnessed staff clean chair after my use and informed me it is cleaned after every use. Eyebrows went from $3 to $5 which is still very reasonable. Alot of other businesses are not taking the same measures in providing sanitizers and cleaning equipment after every use. I truly appreciate the extra effort grace salon enforced to keep their staff and customers safe.

The one thing I hate when I get my eyebrows done is when I feel like the person rushes and it's not like that at all here. She takes her time but she makes it a mission to get every last stray hair possible, down to the itty-bitty tiny ones. And it lasts. My hair tends to grow fast and in the past I would go every week to every week and a half but here I don't have to go quite as often because she gets EVERYTHING. A few weeks back I tried to get my eyebrows done but they had already closed so I thought hey the old place (a place I had been going to for at least 5 years) is still open why not go there? Worst decision. I left with my eyebrows all kinds of messed up. I vowed to only come here from now on. The prices are pretty good and the quality is even better.

Time for my updated review of Sonia's waxing plus. I've been coming here for so many years now,…read moreSonia and her team have become like extended family so I often forget to do these essential reviews often. I started with Sonia back in 2014 and I have frequented every single location Sonia's waxing plus has had over the years. I am always willing to travel near and far (from West Hills actually, lol) for services because it's worth it! Sonia and her team don't just do waxing services, they also do skin care which is important when getting waxing services. Sonia always checks the integrity of my skin, She can always tell if I have or have not exfoliated or when I have and have not used the Vanish, (always buy and use the vanish!) My skin is one of my best features, Sonia and her team are part of my beauty dream team that keeps my skin looking like GOLD! Always on time and on track with appointment times. They are very accommodating with availability too! The staff are always extremely helpful. Prices are perfect! Service and Care are excellent! It's a tiny hidden skin spa! Very private and comfortable. I've been a client over 10years now, and I've referred many of my friends and family members, and she is also on our company's preferred exclusive beauty services recommendations! Sonia's waxing plus has been my skincare hidden gem for years and I would like to share and recommend this studio for Skin Care and waxing services with the world.

Seeing it's my first time I was a bit shy but she's super welcoming and made me feel comfortable. She's been doing this for over ten years! It's the glass door between Voodoo crab and shoe repair shop! 2nd floor SUPER CUTE room! A group of three other beauticians share the 2nd floor Nicole is Room 3 Super clean and health precautions taken The whole laser process is QUICK! From 10-15 minutes depending on the area. She's rubs a gel and then uses a small handheld machine that resembles an ultrasound machine and she starts lasering away. It feels like little tweezing plucks. On a scar from 1-10. I would say Pain as at a 5-6 in sensitive areas. I would definitely recommend Nicole and her business.
