This was when the theater was inside of Attraction's Salon and the experience was like no other. I had quite a long hiatus, not due to anything in particular, but by the time I returned to Cutting Edge as an audience member, the theater was a whole new place with lovely theater seating and an elevated stage as well as very professional sound and lighting. I want to say my first show back was Beauty and the Beast but that's all it took. It wasn't long before I was a season passholder. I have seen many shows at Cutting Edge from big musicals to small straight place and also many original shows that paid tribute to some of my favorite musical artists of all time. One day I got brave and auditioned for Rock of Ages that began my time on stage at Cutting Edge Theater instead of in the audience. The people I've met throughout my experiences there have all been wonderful and being a part of Cutting Edge Center of the Arts has truly made me a happier person. I am proud to now be among the board of trustees and to support this theater in as many ways as possible. There is something unique about Cutting Edge Center of the Arts. It truly is the most intimate and innovative theater I've ever been to. I believe everyone should strongly support all of their local community theaters as well as other arts in their community because without art the world would be so dull.

Most if not all the teachers are not real teachers as far as degrees or experience teaching. Most of the staff from the principal on down seem to be nothing but bullies of the children. They have favoritism as far as some kids can do what others can not. Just because their parent is involved in staff. they have rules that are unwritten and not in handbook. Our elementary schooler has attended NCS since pre-school. We find the academics to be strong, the…read moreteachers qualified, and the class size relatively small. The high school offers a strong college prep curriculum and their students have the college board test scores attesting to that. However, the strength of the school, from my perspective, is its sense of community. The staff really loves on your child. The emphasis here is on "Christian", therefore it certainly wouldn't be for everyone. Modern cultural norms of moral relativism and political correctness are not promoted. "Religion" is not taught, rather the Bible is. Even after 2,000 years Jesus remains most controversial, so of course a school who stands up for Him and espouses His teaching will have its share of critics. It's not a perfect school, how could it be, as there are no perfect people. There has been only one - and He allowed Himself to be mocked, ridiculed, and crucified because no greater love had anyone but Him. I want a school that reinforces what I teach my child at home; NCS does that.
