By far the worst experience ever.I wanted to give a chance to a local family business but it was the worst mistake! one mistake after the other and the quality for what I pay for is just garbage. extremely disappointing and embarrassing. I believe they use a third party and the third party is not a good representation of their company. It is very difficult in Florida to get good service nowadays, & I became very apprehensive when my 83 year old mother hired this company to provide window covering options. Danielle, the design consultant, was extremely helpful throughout the design & billing process. My mom decided on shutters rather than blinds. Eduardo, the Hunter Douglas master shutter installer, immediately came to her house to take the appropriate measurements. Not long thereafter, in the install, Eduardo was EXYREMELY efficient, fast and clean. It took about an hour for him to do two 109" window installation. Eduardo brought his own vacuum, which he used to clean the minimal dust from drilling. HE WAS EXCELLENT! We recently did a renovation in part of our home and had a vision of the look we wanted. We first contacted a company which had done draperies and other window treatments for other areas in our home but after several appointments we realized they weren't willing to do what we wanted and wanted to push us into doing something dated and it would compromise our vision so we decided to look for a different company. That led us to Beautiful Windows Blinds and a wonderful window design consultant named Andry . Andry was very knowledgeable and accommodating and understood from the very beginning what we wanted. They send to your home first a guy who confirm your measure or take it in case you didn't, The delivery time is not the best (+ 4 weeks) but at he end they came and the installations was very professional. Great follow-up. I'm really impressed. I had some issues after my purchase and the owner took the time to not only contact me directly, but made sure that my issues were resolved. It's REALLY refreshing to deal with a company that takes pride in their customers' satisfaction, who stand behind their product / service and actually deliver. This, unfortunately, hasn't been the case for the majority of my business dealings here in South Florida. Thankfully, not only was Beautiful Blinds helpful locally, but the Hunter Douglas headquarters dealt with me personally as well. Both showed true concern to take corrective action and did their best to ensure that I was a happy customer. I even received replies to my emails after regular business hours. The women that work here are all very rude, they do not have a care in the world. they talk over you, scream at you and hang up the phone on you when they are done being rude and don't even let you reply. They are hard to reach and when you do they have attitude. I thank god i found out i was able to work with other Hunter Douglas locations for my warranty, because after using Beautiful Windows and blinds the first time for a smaller project of $1,500 i was not going to come back to them for my latest project on my newest home i just did which was an $11,000 job they just lost out on because of their terrible attitudes. i am shocked and appalled to see any good reviews for this place because it never failed they were rude to me every single time i had to deal with them. the women there need to take a class in customer service, they are all doing a bad job. i cannot believe my community continued to use them for blinds after i told my community about my terrible experience. their excuse was the lady there is sick but that does not give her the right to bring problems to work and treat people so rude. angela is terrible, so is the staff. read more

Love this company! Found them on Angie's List. The ladies came out and gave us ideas on treatments for our new home. When the shades I had selected turned out to be over our budget, there was no snobby attitude. They worked with us until we found a solution which we could afford and that was perfect for us. The installer was so professional and when he was done, you would not have known anyone was working in out home. We went from having to hang shower curtains over our bedroom windows to the most glorious "boudoir" effect. Thank you all for such a great job! read more

they rarely answer the phone, it gets to voicemail all the time. they never call back when they are supposed to either. blinds have needed to be fixed 3 times already and the poor customer service on top of it is not ideal, i wish i did not have a lifetime warranty that i'm stuck with at this blinds place that i paid a lot of money for. owner never available to speak with their upset customers. really sad. never again. and i would never recommend them to anyone. read more

I would give them zero stars but the first time I called I spoke to a nice woman who gave me a reasonable quote so I want to acknowledge that they do have at least one decent employee. However, after deciding it was too early into my remodeling to clean the silhouettes, she suggested I call back in a few weeks. No problem. When I called back, a rude young woman answered the phone. She quoted me $35 dollars higher per window cleaning (totaling up to hundreds of dollars more) and was snippy the whole time. I asked her to speak to the woman who gave me the first quote and find out why there was such a difference in price and she told me there was no point since this pricing was coming straight from the owner and the owner wouldn't budge. I said well maybe could you ask the other lady how she arrived at such a different number and she snapped at me and said no, I can't. Honestly one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had over the phone. In today's world with reviews and social media, this company should be ashamed. I'll take my business elsewhere. Wonderful experience from start to finish at Beautiful Windows! Great customer service. Dealt mostly with Angela, who was my first contact over the phone. Visited them to look over fabrics for reupholstering two chairs. Both Faryal and Angela gave me their undivided attention, helping me to get a clearer picture of what I wanted. It was fun and fairly painless. The hardest part was deciding on the pillows, which Angela came up with the perfect complement to the chairs. Was so excited when they called after only 2 weeks to tell me that they were finished (I expected it to take up to 4 weeks). The finished product is BEAUTIFUL- meeting my full expectations!
