The reason for the two stars? The price I paid for on Groupon for a syringe of fillers. It was very cheap (230 and 30$ off from a Groupon promotion), which came to 200$. That is extremely cheap for a full syringe of fillers, which is why I decided to purchase it despite the awful reviews. My main reason for giving such poor rating was that the injector ripped me off when it came to paying the tax. I do understand that the Groupon DOES NOT cover the tax. She charged me 49$ dollars for the tax which I did pay because I didn't think of it. I realized, once I got home, that the correct amount should of been somewhere around 32.00$ for 230.00$. I am aware that Roya's business has shut down (about time),but does anyone know where she's at or how to get in touch with her? I'm almost positive she injected silicone or some type of black market product in my lips because it's migrated way above my lip and is hard, I had an extreme reaction to Hyaluronidase which wouldn't have happened if it was real FDA approved fillers. Don't bother. I have been to true experts and tried Groupon out at this location because it was close to home. The staff which was only one person, the same person injecting was clueless to anything she was doing, my first mistake to go forward with the injections. She put the needle so deep in my face that it left bruising, never have I been bruised by botox injections when applied by an expert. She ripped me off on my taxes and at the end of all that she asked me for my nurse contacts so she can go learn a few things from them which led me to believe she didn't have the slightest clue what she was doing. It has been 6 days, around my eyes are bruised and no real change to my face another thing that leads me to believe the Botox used is crap or not even Botox. The real stuff typically works in 4-5 days and you should be able to feel it working. Don't waste your money on Groupon, when it comes to your face go to a legit place. Pay more for the results and find yourself a real expert nurse. read more

No Stars at all, but the system required at least 1 to post... I bought a Groupon Deal, first mistake! The woman was pleasant and very nice. I did not mind the small simple room she worked out of, as I understand being a small business owner is challenging. The woman seemed very informed and listened to my needs, and to where I wanted to be injected. She was very adamant about applying a topical numbing cream, which I had never had applied to my face prior to being filled at other clinics. I have been having treatments for 7 years from other clinics and have NEVER bruised either..... However, at this clinic, after 12 hours, bruising appeared and got worse by the hour. The bruising took 6 weeks to disappear! My GP thought that the filler was placed too deep, which made sense as also within 12 hours the volume evident from the 2 dermal fillers I had injected to my face, begin to disappear....so much so that within 48 hours the volume was gone. My GP thought that this too was a result of the fillers being placed too deeply. I left the clinic in good spirits, as the injector said she would give me the same Groupon deal, anytime, but within 12 hours I knew I would NEVER go back there. read more

Beware of this place. Roya who also goes by the name Katie used work in a tiny room at Tina Pro and Nails on the Danforth. I found her through a Groupon and at first, I liked the skin tightening treatments as they showed good results. Initially Roya was nice. When she moved to High Park, she became money hungry and it became difficult to get appts for ST with her. I had fillers done and the first time, I was satisfied, also they were painless. I went again and brought a friend. At first she quoted a different price but charged us a different price and overcharged on the tax. The injections became painful and she bruised us. Not a good experience for many reasons. 1) booked an appointment after learning about clinic through Groupon. 8pm the night before my appointment, I get a call asking me if I can reschedule as an emergency came up. No problems there, happy to reschedule. They told me to call them back first thing in the AM to reschedule my appointment. **when I called back in the AM, they had no idea who I was and I didn't get an appointment until 5 weeks later** 2) Groupon's advertisement said a doctor or registered nurse would inject me with Botox, and that wasn't the case. All I saw on the walls were certificates to beauty schools. no medical certificate anywhere to be seen. 3) Groupon's advertisement said a consultation would be given prior to treatment to see if treatment was right for me. That never happened. See point 4. 4) first time ever trying botox. The woman barely said anything to me. Kept calling me Jessica when my name is Anna. Didn't ask me about health conditions, didn't prepare me as to what would happen during the procedure or what to expect, didn't offer any ice. Nothing, it was quite shocking, especially being my first time (which I stressed to her). She literally sat me on the table in silence in the basement while she prepared the botox. I would ask her what to expect and she would just say "it doesn't hurt". Very simple responses when I asked questions. Btw, it did hurt. Ice pack would've been nice for a first-timer. 5) (Botox for Forehead only) - I told the woman I heard horror stories of some women's eyebrows ending up having one higher than the other after treatment. She laughed and said that would never happen. Surely enough, 5 days after treatment, my left side of the forehead was frozen, and the other side was still full of wrinkles. I looked like half a clown. 6) I went back to correct the matter 5 days later, she injected me some more on the right side, and the wrinkles on the right side of my forehead STILL never went away. THIS place....is a complete joke and a rip off!!!! A warning to all people that would use Botox or dermal fillers, do NOT waste your money here....I paid for their services on Groupon, what I thought was a deal $199 for 40 units of Botox and $475 for 2 dermal fillers . Well........firstly, I get there thinking it should be some really nice spa...no...it's a room in a basement of a hair place, the women has no credentials on the wall, or anything showing her expertise and education in this field, her English is not great and because I as late for my appointment, she took me but said she will just do it from the chair, and I said don't you want me to lay down on the bed so that she could get a better look at my face and so on. Finally she agreed, but once I told her where I wanted the filler, she barely even gave me a chance and just stuck me with the needle. She didn't take any time to really study my face or tell me what product she was using or anything. She hurried through the procedure, then I wanted my 40 units of Botox, between my brows and some in my forehead. It was really rushed and unprofessional. She asked for the tax money that groupon doesn't take, which I understand...but she never gave me a receipt, I gave her cash, she over charged me, which I didn't realize until I got home. AND...2 days later my cheeks, where the 2 dermal fillers went are uneven and I have a lump on one side. The Botox that she SAYS she gave, didn't even change a thing!!! My forehead and brow looks EXACTLY the same as it did before my treatment!!! I have had 40 units of Botox before, from a reputable Dr, and I could not move the muscles in that area, as this is how it's suppose to be...smooth with no wrinkle appearing! I am so UPSET about this place and this women, I paid all this money and got a completely BOTCHED job!!! She never even answered my concerns or addressed the pictures that I sent her!!! I had to fight with her to get money back from the taxes that she overcharged. I went there via Groupon for a completely different service but was talked into botox once there. I am 37 and was 36 at the time. The woman working, Roiya, convinced me that I needed it. I told her I was very nervous and that I wanted the least amount possible and that I didn't want to be fully frozen. When she administered the botox, she injected in one spot but then dragged the needle mistakenly across my forehead to the left and pricked the skin, essentially injecting again in an unintended spot. Within one week, I had developed an aggressive case of ptosis. My left eyebrow sank down and my eye wouldn't open fully. I went back to her and asked if she could help and she injected a few units strategically. It didn't help. I went back again after calling several times without response and she behaved so strangely, claiming I had uneven eyebrows in the first place and being extremely hostile, defensive and abusive. I was in tears by the end of that encounter. I approached her calmly and respectfully and I really still can't believe how she behaved. It was a harrowing experience. I have spent several hundred dollars now trying to fix it elsewhere. I have no choice but to wait and at 6 months on, I still have one completely frozen and still marginally sunken brow and one normal one. I've had to deny photo shoots and I've shot an entire music video with only the right side of my face shown. This place is dangerous and Roiya is completely unprofessional and unstable.
