When I went to pay, the total was $111. I didn't leave a tip because I genuinely wasn't happy with the service. I told the lady at the front that I would come back later because I wasn't satisfied, and she was incredibly kind and apologetic. Meanwhile, the nail tech who did my nails just stood in the back sipping her Stanley, watching me -- it felt so petty and unprofessional. When I came back, someone else was at the front. I explained the issue, and the nail tech who originally did my nails came and just stood beside him while I was talking, which honestly felt like she was trying to intimidate me. Thankfully, the man at the front sat me down and fixed everything -- and I was really happy with the final result. But honestly, it wasn't just about the nails. What hurt the most was the lack of care and the way I was treated by the first nail tech. I left in tears. I wish I had gotten her name, but the experience left a really bad impression. This is a salon so I understand a bit of this and the shampoo bowls could have been stained instead of dirty but it was just not a great first impression. I scheduled my appointment for 5:15 because I work until 5:00. I called and they said oh she had to change your time because of another appointment. I canceled my appointment. Very disappointing considering this was my first try at a haircut since my baby was born. I made arrangements so that she and my daughter would be looked after.
