From the moment of the first call with wilder, through all the appointments, and then, through the birth experience, I have felt so loved, seen, cared for, and valued. Each appointment left me feeling confident, excited, and in great hands. Having a natural birth with midwives was really important to me, but I wasn't sure what that experience would look like, but now I have gone through it, I can honestly say it was the best decision I could've asked for. I loved everything about this birth center, the cozy atmosphere, the yummy snacks, and the beautiful birthing rooms. Some birth centers are a little too "woo woo" but this one struck a beautiful balance of feeling modern, sophisticated, and professional, with a little touch of that Divine feminine essence. Miranda was an absolute angel during my birth, and was the perfect lifeguard. She let me truly do this on my own, only stepping in to measure vitals, and take the reins when necessary. She made me feel so empowered, and taken care of, and knew exactly how to match my energy during the entire birth process. I am so grateful to her, and felt like I had such a smooth birth experience, because of it! It makes me sad to have to part ways at this point, but I feel so empowered moving forward and want to refer any other mama your way down the road! From the bottom of my heart I want to thank each of you For any women considering a natural birth experience and are looking for THE BEST birth center - go with True North! You won't be disappointed.

She is not only extremely knowledgable, but is a very sweet woman who obviously loves what she does. All our questions were answered and we went into labor & delivery very prepared! Because of everything we learned in her class, we were able to have the birthing experience we had hoped for :) As a Le Leche League leader, she was also very helpful after our little one arrived and we were having a little trouble getting the hang of breast feeding. Kendra went above and beyond to help us out and gave me the peace of mind and reassurance I needed to provide the type of care we wanted for our baby. I would highly recommend Kendra!!

I was so fortunate to find Dr. Esser at a very trying time in life. I was extremely frustrated with the major Healthcare system of big corporations such as "St. Vincent" hospital, and "The Doctors Clinic" I hadn't had medical care in many many years when I first came to Dr. Esser, to say I needed more than OBGYN care would be an understatement. Esser really takes a holistic healing approach to health. She guided me through many medical situations, helped me with my overall health, diet, nutrition, vitamins for overall well being. She is a problem solver. She puts real time into solutions varying dosages of medications until we have the right outcome. She is also an incredible surgeon. At 35 years old I was in need of a total hysterectomy- She called me from her home over the weekend to check on me. Continuing to make sure I was well. *And to the reviewers saying its hard to get an appointment- yes she does book appointments out 1 to 2 months, she is a private practitioner and she is excellent and well worth the wait*

Having had two children under his watchful eye and being an advocate for women, I highly recommend Dr. Christen to any client looking for birth with a provider who respects her as an individual, who does not want to put her through unnecessary examinations before or during the birth, and who inherently believes in her ability to give birth to her baby. I have seen Dr. Christen give his clients (including me) his full attention for as long was needed for her to feel that she understood what was being suggested, that she'd had her questions answered fully, and that she was choosing for herself, rather than being ushered into a decision she wasn't behind, and didn't fully understand. I refer any of my clients looking for an unfussed-with hospital birth to Dr. Christen and appreciate very much the options he offers women in our county - the type of care that sticks to science, reduction of risk, and treating women like human beings.

ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE…read more We moved to the area in December, and I was trying to schedule a 12 month for my baby. There was a long wait to get an appointment, and the staff wasn't the most professional or friendly. It was hard to even reach someone. I waited for my appointment, and ended up having to call in to reschedule. When I called to reschedule my upcoming appointment, the receptionist had 'no record' of my appointment. I guess they didn't successfully schedule it or mark it down. This was discouraging and disheartening, but we went ahead and rescheduled and I waited the long wait to the next appointment. When it was almost to my appointment day, the office called me to let me know that I could no longer be a patient there because I was a 'no call, no show.' Without speaking with me, they cancelled the long awaited appointment (at this point it had been almost three months just trying to get in to see Dr. Niran). I called in to try to clear up the misunderstanding. Explaining that I wasn't a no call, no show. Perhaps the office staff didn't see the originally scheduled appointment, but it was somehow successfully scheduled somewhere--and then when I didn't show up for the appointment (they said they didn't even have on their books), I was marked a no call no show? I'm not sure what happened on their end, but I am very responsible and communicative. Whenever I do need to reschedule, I call in advance. The receptionist just went on to lecture me about why the policy is important. I'm like "I agree, but I didn't not call and just not show up and you said I didn't even have an appointment. How could I even be absent for an appointment that, the last time I called in, you told me you didn't have scheduled. They are all over the place over there, and I was losing patience. They said in about a week they could get back with me about if I would be able to be seen as a patient. I told them there really must've been some sort of mistake. I did not earn the 'no call, no show' punishment. They called today saying that we would not be able to be seen because I 'missed an appointment.' There was no understanding or hearing me that it was a clerical error on their office's part and I got falsely accused and kicked out for their mistake. I'm just trying to take care of my daughter. I've already waited three months to see Dr. Niran Al-Agba. Now I guess I have to start from scratch. My child is now going to be due for her 15 month appointment. 've completely missed the milestone 12 month exam. I waited and waited for my Silverdale Pediatrics' appointment, nervous about her going without a check-up for months. Now I'll probably have to wait again to have her seen by another new Doctor elsewhere. They could've at least kicked us out right after the supposed no call no show, rather than making me wait a month just to tell me days before my long-awaited appointment. I waited all that time for nothing. So unfair. This is not right/unethical treatment of a patient who needs care and her mother who is responsible and communicative.

Well, sir, it happened here. A dermotologist had recommended I see Dr. Sarah Neitzel for podiatric care and I had my PCP send a referral to her. When the office called to schedule an appointment I was told I'd be seeing her partner, Dr. Jarod Spencer instead. I agreed to the change. This is why it always pays to be open-minded. The office visit with Dr. Spencer was superb. Very friendly guy with an easy manner who really knows his stuff. We talked about the foot thing I had an issue with a slightly-regrown ingrown toe nail He gave me several options including two options for cutting the nail thing out. We agreed I'd try the options and then follow up in a couple of months. Have you ever been given new info and felt your brain expand with that new knowledge? Only me, huh? Well then, OK, let's continue. Anyway, my brain expanded after absorbing that new information. But THE best thing about my appointment with Dr. Spencer? Not once did he leave the exam room to check on other patients waiting in other exam rooms. I've gone to two single doctor podiatry practices where the one guy would be bopping back and forth between several rooms. So not only are you waiting for the guy to come back and finish whatever he started, you worry and hope that the guy remembers who YOU are and what your situation is and doesn't confuse you with another patient. I've had a past podiatrist say to me upon his return to the room, "OK, where were we? Oh yes..." Those guys are hyped up to begin with because they have to be in order retain sufficient energy (and hopefully mental focus) throughout the day--every day. Dr. Spencer was calm, friendly and professional. He was at ease which put me at ease--and this was our first visit. So, from now on, he's my guy. And since I've got various foot issues, it's comforting to know I found a great podiatrist I can trust, and well deserves this five-star rating.
