His assistant was very nice on the phone and in person. I only needed a filling replaced, but was going to get a cleaning done as well. He was very quick to clean up the tooth and get it ready to replace the filling. I didn't need a shot as he was accurate and attentive to whether I was feeling pain. I did not in fact feel any. The new filling went in in under five minutes and he made three adjustments to the surface to make sure my bite was not affected by the new material. He refused to clean my teeth, said I had taken good enough care that a cleaning was unnecessary. The whole visit was done in 18 minutes and cost $170. Very pleased. I would recommend him without reservation.

Like many of us, I am not a huge fan of going to the dentist. Although very recently I had to…read more Enter Greville Dental, I chose Greville dental because it is so close to where I live. I was very satisfied with my treatment. I was assessed and a plan ewas given to me with all the pricing I would be up for. My dentist explained that we could do certain procedures (more urgent ones) and wait on doing the other procedures. Everything was clearly explained and I was given information brochures on my dental problems. The staff were so very helpful and I highly recommend Greville dental.

I wouldn't usually review a dentist, but I feel this experience warrants it…read more I recently moved to the country/area, and needed to find a new dentist, which is usually a challenge for me because a) I hate going to the dentist and b) I like to think I'm relatively smart and appreciate the rare doctor/dentist that just talks with you eye to eye rather than at you. Greville Dental came up pretty quick after a search, it seemed like an okay place, so I went for it. I'm happy I did as I probably had the best experience at a dentist in my life. I was able to book the next day, I arrived on time, filled out a short form and was seen right away with hardly any wait. The dentist I saw - Shannon Yap - was friendly and direct and efficient and explained all that was going on in my mouth in clear language/detail, walking me through the X-Ray's after and pointing out a couple of things that needed amends, but also wasn't pushy about booking me back in etc. Then, turns out it's a Bupa Members First place, so the whole clean/consultation was covered even with a basic plan, and I was out in about 30minutes with a complimentary bottle of listerine and toothpaste (nice touch). For the first time in my life, I'm actually planning on going to the dentist regularly (every 6 months to a year) so long as I live in the area. It was an unexpectedly pleasant (for a dentist!) experience, and I highly recommended giving it a try if you don't like going to the dentist.
