I went to Dr. Balfoort based on the other review and his proximity to me in Upwey. I called in the afternoon and got an appointment first thing the next morning. His assistant was very nice on the phone and in person. I only needed a filling replaced, but was going to get a cleaning done as well. He was very quick to clean up the tooth and get it ready to replace the filling. I didn't need a shot as he was accurate and attentive to whether I was feeling pain. I did not in fact feel any. The new filling went in in under five minutes and he made three adjustments to the surface to make sure my bite was not affected by the new material. He refused to clean my teeth, said I had taken good enough care that a cleaning was unnecessary. The whole visit was done in 18 minutes and cost $170. Very pleased.
