There is so much fun for FREE at the library! The librarians are super helpful and there's even a security guard at the entrance which makes us feel safer. My daughter loved the kids area and the scavenger hunt, we roamed the rest just to see it and it's truly stunning with the giant windows. The librarians were helpful with the scavenger hunt clues and we really enjoyed our visit here. I did see they have a dvd player for rent if anyone is looking... :)

Boy, was I surprised. First thing I saw was a room equipped with (fairly new) computers, printers, and projector screen. The whole building had a very sleek and modern feel. The children's room was massive and really colorful-- there are toys and lots of space to read/play. There was a massive magazine room with a large selection. Downstairs there were more computers, along with large fiction and nonfiction sections. The shelves were organized and clearly labeled, which made them super easy to navigate. One of the books I was looking for was listed as in stock but not on the shelf-- when I mentioned this to the librarian during checkout, she checked the returns for me, and found it. Really impressed with this library. Wish it wasn't so much of a drive for me, because honestly, I'd be here all the time. What a great resource.

This is a proper campus, and not modern at all, and the library is at the very heart of it. It's mainly for the college students, but perhaps because I come here with students (one former and one current), they've never given me any trouble. It's a great place to hang out and study if you like "that old smell" because it does have it. One of the better college libraries I've been inside.

The Manlius Library has all the stuff you'd expect at a library, and a tremendously nice staff. The attached cafe is nice and unpretentious, and staffed by volunteers. You can access any resource from any of the public libraries in the county, http://www.onlib.org/ , and this makes a vast pool of materiels that are available for borrowing. Request what you want online, and it will be delivered to the branch of your choice, and an email will inform you that it is in!

The room is a kind of small so they can only let in a certain amount of people at a time. Everyone was very patient. The long tables are set up full of books and when a box is emptied there are more books put out. They are only divided by Fiction/ Non Fiction and Children's. It is $5 per bag - Holy Cow....WOW! I really want to give a big shout out to all the employees who were working the sale on Saturday.,.they were incredibly friendly and helpful. (It was my first time there) They helped me to my car with 3 bags Full of books.... offered me a chair when I was finished and waiting for my friend. Thank you Liverpool Library!

This location takes advantage of being in an old Stickley building and the library rooms sprawl throughout the building and include a children's area, study rooms, public reading and work areas where they sometimes host events, and maker labs. They have a huge selection of books, music, and other media here. The whole children wing is a big hit for my toddler and I love watching her interact with the other kids here. I consider this my "home" library even though I'm not a Fayetteville resident. That should tell you something about how its patrons are treated!

This review is more of a review based on aesthetic of the campus. I have not feeling either way of…read morethe university, I just wanted to see the architecture. I had no idea of how this campus was laid out so I just started walking until I did stumble upon a map of the campus. It was hard to follow as it had the buildings all labeled on the map, but there was no coordination when that correlated to the map key. I just wanted to walk around and take some pictures as it was a nice day and some of the buildings are beautiful. I walked from one end of the pedestrian walkway to the other, back towards where my hotel was. A little about Syracuse University. Established in 1870 as a private research university. Interesting fact, it started as a seminary outside of Rochester. After some financial difficulties they decided to move to Syracuse because that would give them a better chance at surviving. Other interesting things, it was found as coeducational and racially integrated. First university in the country to offer a Bachelor of Fine Arts.

Great learning experience. Cornell has provided very informative faculty so you can ask as many questions as you want. They also have a huge collection of Lincoln & Gettysburg information, artwork, photographs, and memorabilia, including an original copy of the Gettysburg Address. I think that the other 4 copies are all owned by government, so it's pretty cool that Cornell has one. Olin Library in general is pretty cool. I really like the group meeting areas and Olin cafe. The rare book exhibits are must-sees though. Go now!

I was pleasantly surprised by the interior of this library. I really loved how it looked to be…read morestuck in the 1960s. There were glass light fixtures and a chandelier as well as green modular chairs and retro tables. There is also a living room like area where there's a mod sofa and chairs with two stations you can charge your devices on. There seemed to be 5 women who worked at the library all there at once. It seemed to be a large number for a relatively small library. One managed check-outs and the copying machine, one returned books to shelves, another was at an office desk in the children's book area and two others were by the job hunt computer station stationed at computers. There was also a security guard. The children's area has floor seating in a circle for pow wows. There is an upstairs loft area with more books. I'm unsure if there are desks up there. I did see a chair. I loved the ceiling to floor corner window in the "living room" space of the library. It reminded me of an Eichler home and was super retro. There's a lower basement level that was closed off. There is plenty of parking. There are lots of movies you can check out including newer ones like Guardians of the Galaxy. It's comfortable, warm in the winter time, or cold in the summer time. The hours are kinda lame..but I usually go here with my girlfriend to relax and warm up..and talk or work on stuff. The staff is respectful, and nice!
