I get massages and facials on a regular basis at home. I was expecting more soundproofing for the service rooms. You could hear everything that was happening in the waiting area. The massage therapist was wonderful. The facial was less than what I was use to. There was a lot of down time and the esthetician left the room a couple times stating she needed to get product. I am not sure exactly what was happening but at one point I heard something that sounded like someone opening up a garbage bag. It was not a relaxing experience. I was surprised the extractions were done manually. At home my esthetician uses a machine that is less invasive. There was 1 cleanse, 1 mask, and, at most, a 1 minute face massage to incorporate products into my skin. While letting the mask dry there was a foot massage, but it was very uneven. The esthetician spend 3-4 minutes on one foot and maybe 1 minute for the other. The cost was not worth the experience. I would return for the massage only.

I've had other deep tissue massages that were just OK, but Ingrid gave deep pressure on my trouble areas (neck and lower back) and really loosened me up. Afterwards my massage I walked down to the beach while my wife got her massage, during which she got to know about Ingrid and her husband's life journey which brought them from the states to the island of Vieques. When I got home I saw that there were huge gaps and literally several inches longer pieces hanging down. I went back to her and asked her to even it out and she made it even worse. It almost seemed as though she purposely ruined my hair. I told her I was not happy at all with the cut and asked for a refund. She did not refund me and also kept my generous tip.
