I was paying them £150 a month (more than 3 times what my previous accountants charged) which included support for the Xero Software which they use. I asked if I could call into the office in October to ask Emma a few questions regarding the software, She said that would be fine...with no mention of a charge. I had also mentioned I was interested in maybe purchasing a property in Spain at some point and she said she had a financial advisor who could give me a call for a chat...again no mention of a charge. I received a phone call from him and chatted briefly. Again there was no mention of any charge. I was then sent a bill for £570 for extra training and advice! At no point was I told there was a charge for this support in October or for the chat with the financial advisor. I was also told there was a mistake on my previous tax return and I would need to pay them another £360 to fix it within 2 days time or it would be too late. I rang HMRC and was told this was incorrect and I could simply write them a letter for free. Finally, even though they had agreed to complete my accounts which ended in May 2018 by the end of January 2019. I had still not received my accounts and then, with no notice, they terminated our agreement, leaving me having to pay another accountant to do the work they were supposed to have done. Extremely unprofessional service!

They offer all types of services that you would expect from accountants as well as extras such as electronic storage for documents that are to be kept. They offer financial services such as mortgage or pension advice. They are in a good location which is easy to get to from most of Essex and other near by counties. They are a very professional and modern firm who are always looking to grow by offering their clients the best services available to cater for the future.
