We had such an incredible time here, and it's easily become one of our favorite local spots. What makes this place special is that it's so much more than just a farm--it's a full-blown experience. Here's why we loved it: The Fun Park: The rides are perfect for younger kids! From the classic kiddie coaster to the charming train ride that loops around the property, there's plenty to keep them entertained for hours. The Animals: The petting zoo was a huge hit. The animals are well-cared for, and it's such a sweet, hands-on way for kids to connect with nature. The Food & Market: You cannot leave without visiting the market. Their famous pies (especially the marionberry!) are legendary for a reason. We also loved the café for a quick, fresh lunch. The Atmosphere: Even when it's busy, the farm has a wonderful, relaxed energy. It's clean, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the scenery in Carnation is just stunning. The owners are seriously wonderful -- you can tell they care so much about what they do and their passion for their work is absolutely infectious. The tour is split up into a few sections, where we got to learn more about alpaca products, about alpacas in general, and then a feeding session. The alpacas are SO. CUTE. and they are very gentle -- I was pleasantly surprised by their goofy summer haircuts. They have tons of products made from the herd, including yarn. They also hold community events around the wintertime and for Mother's Day! Highly recommend a visit and to support these great folks!

Samantha was a rockstar in helping us with the details ahead of time, and Amy and Tiffany went above and beyond the night of to get it set up for us and move tables/chairs around as the evening evolved. They were also so personable and friendly and professional to all of our guests. It was such a wonderful evening and I could not have imagined having it anywhere else.

The park is ADA friendly. The path is dirt and pebbled but can be navigated with a wheelchair. There are bathrooms on site and a small shop. I have never purchased bulbs or plants from here but I know there is a big community around that. The coffee shop in the garden can get busy. But a benefit is we were able to charge my husband's wheelchair there on a visit. While the park is open every day, the coffee shop is not. Definitely this should be a spot for all locals. And not just a one time visit either.

Once the entire family met up, we climbed back into the car and headed to Bellevue. Not sur if it was due to the time. But we were surprised there was a lot of parking available. We spent a good 2-hrs here which included getting lost and finding other street entries into the botanical park from a school and from other busy street corner at the bottom of the park. Nice and shaded, quiet little creeks, plenty of seating for those that were inspired to journal, plenty of elderly people using this time to exercise and stretch. We enjoyed the different areas like the swinging bridge, the Japanese garden and even the little cafe they have there. Fairly priced items and plenty of tables to enjoy a refreshment and snack. By the time we were done, the gift shop was already closed. So I took the opportunity to drop a donation into the box instead.

We used to be fine with a Chubby & Tubby tree but alas they are now gone. Arrived at 11:30 on Saturday the 8th Of December and found we had company. Ample parking & helpful parking attendants working the lot to direct cars to open spots. Grabbed a saw, map & pricelist from the main area and headed out into a small field. You are to only cut trees with green tags. Saw quite a few without green tags that I would have loved. But found plenty with green tags to choose from. Got ourselves a nice 7ft Noble for $50. Same price as Fred Meyer but fresh as can be. Tip: Bring a tarp or blanket to lay on while cutting your tree & Bring gloves for carrying tree.

The owner was so friendly and nice and told us that their blueberries are organic and to feel free to sample some. Their blueberries were juicy and sweet. We also stopped by their store which had peaches that were plump and so sweet. I think they are the most memorable peaches because they were so sweet. Their shop carried beautiful baskets, fans and other produce. I highly recommend this farm.

Luck was in our favor when we found family owned Celebration Farms It is absolutely beautiful; esthetically. Gorgeous barns adorned with locally made items such as candles, dish towels, packaged dry goods, lavender and more. The trees were displayed with easy viewing, and with plenty of room to walk around them. There's free cocoa, coffee, an outdoor fire pit, and little smore kits too. Sweet Icing on the cake: The owners and employees were extremely helpful, patient, and friendly. If we were better prepared, I'd come here to take our family Christmas card photo too. We left paying a little more than anticipated, but the quality and beauty of our first Nord Fir, combined with the exceptional customer service was everything!
