I visited on a Tuesday, so the vibe was laid back with plenty of open seats in the coffeeshop area. It was a hot day, so I ended up going with an iced chai, which was too sugary for my tastes. They also had a small pastry case, but I didn't partake. Service was friendly at both the coffee counter and book counter. Overall, a cute independent store worth popping into.

While I did find a few wonderful items that I love, I was deeply disappointed by the customer service. The staff members were whispering and staring, did not greet anyone entering, and felt completely unwelcoming--even during checkout. This cold energy is very unexpected for a spiritual environment and for Santa Fe in general. In fact, I felt the need to thoroughly cleanse the energy from my items before bringing them home. This shop has the potential to be an uplifting, beautiful space, but the staff definitely needs to improve their customer service.

Books are organized by section, and there's a children's and YA section if patrons bring their children with them. Most of the books are used and a decent price. There were many boxes being sent up to the Taos location which were blocking small alcoves in the store. If I had a suggestion, it would be for that work to be done in the back so customers can access books; I was not able to enter the alcove I wanted to because of shipping boxes. Overall, an eclectic local bookstore that is fun to browse, if cluttered.
