A chalkboard sign with a wooden frame displays colorful handwritten text and illustrations. It reads 'Welcome' in multicolored letters, with drawings of a pink mermaid tail, jellyfish, and seaweed, indicating a theme related to the ocean. The sign advertises coffee, signed copies, speculative fiction, and author events, suggesting it is for a bookstore or literary venue that hosts community activities and sells books. The sign is placed outdoors against a beige wall.

What an awesome store for fans of fantasy and sci fi! If you didn't already know, the proprietor is George RR Martin (he of "Game of Thrones" fame) and the decor reflects this: various props and a poster from the Ron Perlman show "Beauty and the Beast," which Martin wrote for. If you're seeking signed copies of books, this is the place to look! I got a Martin book as well as the new title by Peter S. Beagle (author of "The Last Unicorn"). All the staff were super friendly. There is a small cafe and some outdoor seating as well. This would definitely be a frequent hang if I lived in the area :)

Found by accident, a real treat!! This is author George R.R. Martin's bookstore with a wonderful collection of fantasy and science fiction books/authors, many autographed. I arrived when they were preparing for a book-signing by Kristian Niarn, AKA Hodor of GOT fame. I treated myself to a purchase of Stephen King's "The Dead Zone." Spotlessly clean with a variety of coffees and treats, hosts Kirsten and Kayden were lovely and welcoming. Recommend!

A black mannequin dressed in gray casual attire, including a jacket, shirt, and pants, stands near a window with natural light. The wall behind features four framed black-and-white photographs and a colorful movie poster. The setting appears to be an indoor space, possibly a retail or display area.

Cute bookstore and coffee shop near the Jean Cocteau movie theater. We read about it and then stumbled on it while walking the streets in the area. I am not a "Game of Throne" viewer (not my thing) but I love bookstores so I will always check one out. This one has cool decor, is airy, with some memorabilia on display since it's owned by George R. R. Martin himself. They mostly sell his books with his signature and not only. Definitely an unique place, if you love the show, the place is a must visit. If not, just if you happen to be in the area.

Catriona Ward - The image shows a person holding an open book titled 'Ted Bannerman' inside a train carriage. The train has red upholstered seats, some of which are empty, and a window revealing a dark night outside. Overhead lighting illuminates the interior, and a digital screen is visible in the background displaying text in Spanish. The person's hand is visible, holding the book, and the scene suggests a quiet moment of reading during a train journey.

Absolutely loved this little shop! It is owned by the writer of Game of Thrones and has many autographed books by him and some other writers. It was a very cozy place to enjoy some coffee read or even hangout! I would also like to add that the employee working was amazing I didn't get to catch her name but she showed us around and even recommended some great books to us! The drinks are super inexpensive and delicious I got to try the chai latte and cappuccino both very good I definitely loved this experience by far was my favorite place to visit in Santa Fe!

We had gone up to Santa Fe specifically to have a chance to get a book from George R.
