#ThankYouThursday I am thankful that places like this still exist. I drove all the way up from Palm Harbor to check them out because 1. I knew they had a sunflower patch and 2. I read about their fresh produce. It was well worth the Sunday morning drive to check it out and support local. I, of course, forgot to bring something to put the sunflowers in that I clipped so do remember that if you have a drive to make like I did as mine did begin to wilt by the time I got home but some fresh water and they perked back up. The sunflower patch is small but beautiful and we had plenty of flowers to choose from when deciding which ones we wanted. It wasn't too crowded either so no need to feel rushed. They have farm animals as well that you can feed, the goats will LOVE you. Even without food they will come right up to you at the gate. The produce sizes and prices are AWESOME. I got three "regular" sized zucchini that are easily 3 times the size that I would get at Publix for $1.00 each. They had jumbos for $2.00 each but I was more than happy with the "regular" sized. Afterwards I was even thinking... "will these even fit in my spiralizer?" Might have to pull out the big guns and get the Kitchenaid attachment out vs my portable one. Now, if only this place was closer to home. Once everything is allowed to open up, I can see myself making this drive again, there are other places up there to visit and explore. On the way back we did a To-Go pick up at Marker 48 for some of their tasty beers so right there, 2 birds, 1 stone!!

I saw an ad online for their market (which is every second weekend of the month) and decided to give them a try. They had plants, fresh kettle corn, street corn, craft goods, soap, produce, other grocery items, u-pick sunflowers and beans, and so much more at very affordable prices through various venders. There are adorable cows, goats, chickens, and bunnies that you can feed for free on market weekends. They also offer a bottle and water to take u-pick sunflowers home in. Staff was very friendly. I recommend that if you plan on doing any u-pick activities that you bring boots or something that can withstand mud- especially if there has been rain recently. Also, bring a change of clothes if you're going somewhere after just in case you get a little muddy. The cow was so excited for me to give her corn that she stomped her foot and covered my pants in mud! This is a real farm where food is grown and animals are raised. If you don't want to get a little dirty, you can stay on the gravel path which has the vendors, chickens, and farmer's market.

SUCH a FANTASTIC FIND!!! A girlfriend of mine told me about the Beasley Farm and it is a wonderful place. it's not too far out of town, even coming from the west. Beautiful drive as you get closer to the farm. Once you arrive you will see the crops and the animals all around you. They take excellent care of their property so it's not dirty or stinky. they have a storefront of sorts where they display canned goods, crafts, veggies, eggs, and so on. on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays they have their $10 produce boxes available. I decided to get a $10 produce box as well as some canned items, eggs, and lettuce. my husband and I were amazed by how fresh and delicious everything was throughout the week. Will definitely be back as often as I can get over there. if you are just looking for fresh veggies definitely find them at the farmers markets around town, I think they have their hours/locations on their website. Follow them on Facebook to see announcements on what will be available in each produce box as well as when they're open pick days are. Make sure to bring kids, they'll love seeing and interacting with the animals. Really, it's so important for everyone to see what's behind the food on their plate. Gives a great appreciation for the farmers, the animals, and the local economy.

Stopped by to check this out. The have a weekly $10 box filled with an assortment of fresh vegetables. They preselect what you get. Clean stand with some other choices. They also sell vegetables at the weekly Spring Hill market Saturday's on 19. It's nice to buy local

The family who run this farm are dedicated and offer quality products. My family enjoyed feeding the animals too.

Definitely a great place for kids to see some animals for free (you can make donations) and adults to get good produce!

Boyett's Citrus Grove Attraction is one of the most random type of places I have ever been to. It…read morewas like someone said, let's: arrange items from thrifts stores and never dust, have amateurs and professionals make art exhibits, have acquariums we won't clean, have a zoo we won't mow the grass at so you can barely see some of the animals, have an old school looking ice cream shop that is not open, a bathroom that looks like a port-a-potty so bad you won't even use it, and also putt putt golf. From big foot to fish to zebras to an alligator I never got to see because the area was so over grown to taxidermy to quirky tour guides to a whole Christmas themed room. Definitely something unique. All that said, the place is huge and there is so much to see and take in. We spent about 1.5 hours there and had a good time just looking at everything and laughing at a lot. Place could definitely use a lot of upkeep. Several animal stalls were very over grown and I bet that affects the animals. That said I did get access to all the animals I wanted to see and they all looked healthy. You even get a baggy of food to feed them. The horse is such a demanding sweetheart. You can tell it is family owned, a quirky family, and they enjoy the business. It is kinda in the middle of nowhere in farm land and just pops up so follow that GPS. Ample parking and easy access. Bring your camera. This is a fun time, just don't take it serious, especially when you take a picture with Sasquatch.

Everywhere you turn, there's something unexpected....random displays, quirky characters, and little details that make you stop and laugh. The whole place feels like someone took every fun idea they ever had and decided, "Why not?" and honestly, it works. If you love offbeat Americana, kitschy charm, and experiences you can't find anywhere else, this spot is a must‑visit.
