Take these reviews seriously and BEWARE. Unfortunately, this experience has left a very sour taste. From my first encounter, I should have just walked away, but I am trying to relinquish the clutter and get past the sentimental value of clothes. The experience was horrible, and you are told that if you leave your clothing past the 60 day consigning period, they will stay out on the floor longer and give you more opportunity to sell. Otherwise, if you don't go back, you lose your rights to your own clothing or you have to make arrangements to pay per item to have them returned. Of course none of this information is on the paper contract you sign. All of this is a learn as you go or ask questions sort of business which is not ethical. The reality is that you are just giving them your clothes to have them donate or profit on their own. I prefer to control who I donate to, and I didn't appreciate the condescending tone and feeling bad about my quality clothing. Research more and stand up for yourself, as the bottom line is they will take your items and barely sell a thing, but there is no records for you to see. If you still want to give it a go, please select the option to have your items returned, so you know what actually does sell, and do not fall for the clothes will remain on the floor longer. The owner admitted that they pulled them early as she would be away for several weeks. Be honest to your consigners and just return the clothes to them after the 60 days is up, no questions asked. read more

My review today is based solely on Service and lack of Courtesy and Customer Treatment. It was my First visit to the store and I had 3 very Nice condition items to consign/sale. Upon entering store, the person behind the counter was short with Her words and unfriendly when i approached Her. I was quickly and rudely given a card with acct. # quickly dismissed. Left store feeling awkward and surprised on the experience. After waiting period of time to check status of My items, i phoned and was again given a very Short and abrupt answer and time of when to come back for the sale amount of the Toys/Bike. When I went in to store the Same Person looked up my acct, but before getting the cash amount, asked if I was going to shop the store and use my sale return towards that. I politely refused, and left with my share and felt very bad for imposing on this person's Day. Maybe She was the Owner but regardless, a very bitter treatment for First time in this Store. Will HIGHLY Reccomend to not visit this establishment. read more

Exceptionally well organized and staffed. Very helpful and friendly employees. I was looking for a dog onesie to keep my beagle's diaper on. I highly recommend to human infants and kids too there were 5-6 nice strollers there's few days ago. read more

I was really shocked to read the other reviews about rude staff. I started shopping here in the last 6 months, and have been in approx 10 times. Each time I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and the staff interaction has always been pleasant, upbeat and helpful. I've found some great deals here when shopping for two boys (which are generally harder to shop consignment for!) I am the first to admit that I am fussy - I look for certain brands and solids (rather than character/saying shirts), and I always find a few items that are just my taste. I'm not a big toy shopper, so haven't given much attention to the toy selection. They did have a Tula babycarrier there for $50, which was a great price! I haven't consigned anything yet, but need to get myself in gear and bring it in. Overall, I highly recommend stopping here. Store is nice and selection is fine, it's just that the prices for used stuff was higher than some were selling for new. I like to support shops of this kind of type but it's just hard to pay the same or more for used than new. read more

Horrible experience due to a very miserable employee or owner. I don't know if the woman was the owner or not (straight Auburn hair, I believe) but talk about unprofessional. I walked into the store and just from the look on her face immediately knew this woman would apparently rather be somewhere else. I was immediately made to feel "unworthy" of being there with a greeting that sounded more like she was suspecting me of being up to no good. I asked for help and the individual acted a bit too self-important for a used clothing and toy store employee / owner, and made to feel like I apparently wasn't good enough to walk into this dusty little Trexlertown dump. The only thing that bears repeating is this place apparently doesn't value it's customers. Visit it if you like subjecting yourself to unpleasant experiences... Or you'd simply like to witness just how bad customer service and appreciation can be. The couple bucks you might save on someone else's bacteria-infested worn item aren't worth the annoyance. read more

I started going here 2 years ago after my grandson was born for books & toys. The toys and prices are so good. My daughter-in-law loves what I buy. $20 buys you 3 big bags worth. I think the owner is very personable, she'll talk to you like she knows you for a life time but equally important if your in a hurry she'll just let you pay for your items and leave. More clothing for girls verses boys but that's how it is in retail. read more

Miserable owner was very rude and took almost nothing although she sells many of the types of items we brought. Reluctant to give any info and suggested I needed to buy things to sell things in her store. Questioning why I wouldn't be buying things when I very nicely said I don't have small children and I am trying to clear out items right now. Hours to buy items are only limited to during day when many people work so the fact that I was there in early evening did not seem to sit well with her. We spent over an hour packing the car and standing in the store only to bring almost everything home. Was also advised by her that even though technically you can get things back if not sold, if she needs the space she will donate your item rather than give it back to you. read more

I visited this store for the first time today after receiving many recommendations from other parents. My mother and I were pleasantly surprised to find a wide variety of children's clothing, toys, etc. The store was clean and the merchandise was well organized. I bought several designer outfits for a fraction of the cost. Yes, consignment is more expensive but that is because the shop owner has to split the proceeds with the person who brought the merchandise in to the store. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for quality children's items at a fair price! read more

If you want to be dealt attitude and want to argue about what items you dropped off for consignment, then by all means check this place out. I had two consignments running at the same time. Each consignment had about 6 larger items on it (pack and play, exersaucer, bedding, swing, etc). When I called to schedule a time to pick up my unsold consignments I was told that all items had sold except for one. I expressed my shock and Angie (the owner) said that yes 5 out of my 6 items sold. Six? I had dropped off two different loads and EACH drop off had approximately 6 items so where were the rest of my things. Angie said that she sent it home with me because it was old/dated. First, my daughter is 2, it's not dated. Second, I would remember loading up my car with all the items she didn't accept. That didn't happen. So I explain what my items were and how I recollect the drop off going. After telling me she owns the store, she knows what she accepted, I politely explained again. I wasn't going to have a baby swing and larger toys just missing. Angie said "well I guess I just have to believe you." I go on to list some other items and was then told "so now you are adding to the list." I'm not adding anything. I just want to either be paid for what was sold or get my items back. So I took the time to look up images for each item dropped off at my second consignment drop. I sent the pictures to Angie via Facebook and she told me she would take care of it. It was a polite exchange. When I visited the store to close my consignments, a worker greeted me with attitude as if preparing to "deal" with me. I remained nice while she totaled the money I earned and then quickly tucked the paper which logged the items away. I asked to see it and saw my first consignment listed accurately. I asked about the other items, a few of which were listed. The worker said Angie did take care of it...she paid you for them. Ok then! Not all items I listed to Angie were listed. So they were either sold and not credited to anyone or They were thrown away. Beings they were all gently used items, I'm guessing they sold and weren't credited in any location. I was definitely short changed for my second drop off. Live and learn. But I hope my experience helps others like me considering consigning there. Be careful. Log each item you drop off and make the list in front of Angie. I won't be returning as I know I wouldn't be welcomed back. I understand mistakes happen. A simple apology and rectifying the situation would make for good business practices. At no point did I raise my voice or make for a difficult customer situation. With better customer service, this would be a great store to both consign and purchase from. read more

Ok store- not a great selection of clothing for boys. Also an extremely slim and disappointing stock of toys. Prices were reasonable. Like other reviewers, I thought the owner was rude and dismissive. She is also much too particular about what items she sells in her store, hence why the stock is low. Brought a bunch of clothes in to sell that were good quality, clean and cute, but she turned most away for some unknown reason. I believe she prefers the more expensive brands than the more affordable and wearable brands that parents prefer. There was no explanation of what prices she puts on your items. She also only sells your items for 3 months, yes only THREE months, and then after that, you have to go pick them up and PAY THEM to get your clothing items back (or they are donated)! Funny, this 3-month selling window wasn't explained to me when I called for information about selling with them. Would have been nice to know before I spent hours prepping all my items and drove 45 minutes there from Easton. Ended up taking most of my items back home. I don't plan on shopping or selling here again. read more

I've been buying here since my 10yr old was small. It's the best. She always has lots to pick from and is constantly running deals and promotions. I drive all the way from reading just to go there. I've always received helpful and polite customer service. One time my kids were so energetic so the owner put on a movie for them to help entertain so I could finish...
