Coty gives great haircuts and is a super chill guy! Make sure you ask for him when you stop into the Norton Commons location!

To begin with, there is no waiting inside the salon. You have to stay in your car and call them and they will tell you when to come in so we already started on the right foot! The first thing you will need to do is use sanitizer when you walk in and put on your face mask. Everyone inside was wearing a mask so it felt even more comforting. Additionally, the stylists have their chairs set 6 feet apart to follow social distancing. Everything from the chair to the hair washing stations are sanitizer after each person is done. Kenzie Turk was my stylist and she was awesome! Great conversation without it being too much and she recommended some products but wasn't pushy like some other places! I will definitely come back!

I love Gentlemen's Cut. I recently started going to this location for my monthly 90 minutes…read moremassages w/Alyssa. I'd been going to Springhurst for them because she truly is THE BEST. When she started doing Wednesdays at English Villa it only made sense to start going there and saving myself about 15 minutes worth of driving. The décor at this location is like the Springhurst location, kind of a modern laid-back, barnwood motif. The lobby at this location is a bit smaller but it's also a bit cozier. When you walk in you're greeted by a friendly staff member who checks you in and asks if you'd like something to drink. Since going to this location I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes before the ever-cheerful, awesome Alyssa comes out to get me. To get to the massage room you have to walk through the hair styling area, which is astoundingly brightly lit. There are stations where I think up to 8 stylists are working away, helping men (they don't do women's styling) look their best. The massage room at this location is noticeably larger than the one at Springhurst, which is nice for the massage therapist. It is, however, basically c.o.l.d. every time I've been in there. Of course you're under a sheet and the massage bed is heated, but it's flippin' cold in there. The massage room has music for relaxing. It's always nice to have that because it helps relax you...but the music in the room is ... weird. Sometimes it's ethereal and meditative, sometimes it sounds kind of Oriental, and sometimes it's lame piano versions of contemporary hit songs. Roll the dice. I should add that the room isn't very soundproof, so you'll hear, at any given moment: The flushing of the toilet (the massage room shares a wall with the restroom), the music being played outside the massage room, or the conversations taking place in the styling area. Alyssa is AMAZING. I'm nearly always guaranteed to fall asleep. She's excellent at what she does, loosening my shoulder muscles/knots and generally helping the stress go away, if only for 90 minutes. She's also very funny and great at conversation. After my all-too-short 90 minute massage it's time to wake up and face reality. That includes leaving the comfortably dark massage room and going into the light. The first step in that is the hallways...which is freaking bright. Then through the styling area, which is even brighter and eye-squintier. and then. AND THEN you get to the lobby (while shading your eyes with your hands) where it is not only even brightier, but also has the sun reflecting off the windshields into your face. You are then, quite literally, blinded by the light. Fortunately checking out is done facing away from the Wall of Reflected Light. I always book my appointments two months out, so after paying and setting my appointments I'm out the door I've been going to Gentlemen's Cut for over 5 years for my massages, and 4 of them have been with Alyssa. She is THE SHIZNAT, and as long as she's there she'll be the one I come to. And you should, too. Thanks for calling, and have nice day.

I went in July 1 2025 for hair & makeup for my much anticipated first ever maternity photo shoot!!…read moreHannah was my stylist. My makeup was 10/10. Highly recommended. However, I am absolutely heart broken to say my hair was not done well and not HOW I ASKED it to be done. When I made the appointment, I asked for heat rollers to be used because even though my hair curls & holds fine at home, when I get my hair professionally curled it never holds. THE OWNER REPLIED TO MY GOOGLE REVIEW SAYING MOST SALONS DON'T HAVE HEAT ROLLERS. I WAS TOLD BOTH TIMES I CALLED THAT HANNAH WOULD BE REMINDED TO BRING IN HEAR ROLLERS. SO NOT ONLY WAS I LIED TO, BUT THE OWNER COULDN'T EVEN BE EMPATHETIC AND APOLOGETIC BUT INSTEAD BLAMED ME FOR NOT ADVOCATING BETTER FOR MYSELF. The morning of my appointment, I called again to remind them to ask Hannah to BRING IN heat rollers to use on my hair. I requested them a third time when I got to the salon for my appointment. Hannah shrugged it off, saying she believed the "velcro rollers" would only give me volume and not curl and that she would curl my hair with a curler & pin it for a few minutes to let it set. I trusted the professional, but I should have stood up for myself and insisted on using heat rollers. Within 30 minutes of leaving the salon, the curls were gone. I was absolutely devastated. This maternity photo shoot is obviously a huge deal, once in a lifetime thing, and I just spent $155 (tip included) for great makeup and flat, straight hair. I was so disappointed that my requests were not met. My appointment was scheduled to be three hours long, but it only took two hours if that gives you any idea how much shorter "pinning my hair" took than the heat roller method would have taken. I rushed to Ulta, seeking some sort of last minute option as I was absolutely heart broken that I had just spent so much time & money on my hair that was an absolute fair for such an important event. Ulta curled my hair for $30 and those curls lasted for most of the photo shoot. They also wondered why the salon wouldn't do what I requested and even said heat rollers is the tried and true method that worked for our mothers and grandmothers, having no idea what Hannah meant by "velcro rollers that don't curl your hair." Anyways, I made the best of the photo shoot (which was cheaper than the hair & makeup) but having to drive in 3 hours & out 3 more hours and spend hundreds of dollars and take off work etc etc I would have liked to have gotten the hair style I asked THREE TIMES for. Great salon, great makeup, etc but fine hair'd girlies whose hair may not hold a curl super well beware Photo is my hair within 30 minutes of leaving the salon.
